I'd like to begin by mentioning that this is not a hotel, but more like a bed and breakfast. Also, it was not that easy to find - it is actually on the 4th floor of a residential/commercial building. The tip is to look for the Chinese restaurant that is right next door called "Lon Fon". Once you are in...

My 20 year old daughter and I stayed at this hotel for our very first visit to Rome. What a delight! The location was ideal for walking to the sites and restaurants and even the train station. Our room was impeccably clean with added touches like chocolates and a bathrobe that made us feel catered to. The free internet connection...

Had an overnight stay with two friends. Very good location between Termini and the Trevi Fountain so within walking distance of central area and 10 mins amble from airport bus. Also near Metro and town buses. The room was beautifully decorated with well appointed shower room with powerful, hot shower! Very comfortable - air conditioning and flat screen TV. Breakfast...

I stayed in this B&B for two nights in a double room. The B&B is located quite near Piazza Republica and Bernini in an apartment building. I would say that location is quite good for sightseeing. It is not that far from Termini trainstation walkable if bags have wheels... Breakfast was basic, some yoghurt, croissant, fruits and cakes. Room was...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
