I booked this B&B online on the basis of a misleadingly large 'discount' that was offered on the price by Booking.com. (Was led to believe it was a high class room for a bargain price ). Whilst the central location is excellent,I was put in the annexe, and simply did not feel very safe in there, with the other travellers... More

We have stayed here for 4 nights. Our double room was in the opposite building with an external but own bathroom. Our room was very comfy and lovely. The furniture was old-fashioned, but we enjoyed it, because it was charming. The room and bathroom was very clean. Only negative thing is that they did not fill in the toilet paper,... More

We had booked a room for four people, which had one large double bed and 2 regular beds, and the room in general was quite spacious, though it didn't offer shampoos etc in the bathroom. The breakfast was good, in both quantity and quality. The apartment is in a very good place, near the Manzoni metro station, and by walking... More

The apartment is very big with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. It was very clean. It was close to metro station and the coliseum is in walking distance. There is a free wi fi which was working very good. Monika, who made the checked-in, helped us to find the perfect place to park our car right next to the apartment.... More

Obelus has very good position. From this point one can reach many things worth to see in this magic town by foot. Also there are metro, tram and busses nearby. Rooms are clean and safe, staff is kind and attentive. From my point of view this place satisfied all prerequistes to take deep breath of Roma.

Excellent location as it is close to everything, walking distance. If you need the metro station, you have it just around the corner without even crossing any street. Nice and good breakfast. The stay was good and comfortable. Not to forget Hospitality was nice. The attendant was very generous and we all had a good breakfast. So enjoyed the stay here. the location was also in the city Center. So a good place to stay ,as Colloseum, Roman Forum is near by. Vatican city is also not far.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
