A perfect stay with owners that really understand hospitality. Start with a great location near Via Veneto. Close to Italy's Embassy Row as well, so there was a police car on the corner 24 hours a day (talk about a safe location!). Quiet and quirky, only 8 rooms on the 4th floor of an office building, but nice decor and...

2 positive points for this hotel are its location (right next to Via Veneto and few minutes walk to Barberini metro station and the shopping district) and the hotel staff. The receptionists were very helpful throughout our stay. However, I find the value of money for this hotel poor to average. We were lucky that we had the suite for...

Previous reviews are pretty much on the money. We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Plus points 1. Location, quiet but not off the beaten track. 2 Room perfect for city break - no great frills but clean and comfortable. 3 A v. firm mattress, great for my dodgy back 4 breakfast - nice to have this in the...

4 days here and everyone at the hotel couldn't be nicer. The location is ten minutes from the top of the Spanish Steps, 10 minutes from the metro, and served only by lesser bus lines; it is only about a 15 minute walk south of Galleria Borghese. The rooms are small, but quiet and very clean; the breakfast is nice.Bathrooms...

My family and I (2 adults, two teens aged 18 & 19) stayed at the wonderful Roma Boutique Hotel in June/July--a delightful surprise right off the Via Veneto. Hotelier Alessandro Trapasso has done a great job with his 8-room family-run hotel. The quality, personal attention to detail and care are what you would expect from much larger hotel. Alessandro and...

This was one of two hotels we stayed in in Rome whilst on our honeymoon. The hotel is an apartment in a large building. As long as you have a map and the skills, it was easy to find. Easy to miss as there is no sign, just a labelled buzzer once you arrive at the building. We walked there...

I stayed 5 nights at the Roma Boutique Hotel, with no regrets at all. I based my choice on the reviews here on TripAdvisor, since this was my first visit to Rome. They had arranged a car/driver to pick me up at the airport, and even though my flight was delayed and didn't arrive until 1:00am, the driver was there....

A superb way to start our Italy vacation! From the pick up at the airport to the numerous outstanding restaurant recommendations, Alessandro and his staff provided us with a wonderful place to return after a day of touring the sites. The hotel is clean, modern, sleek and breakfast brought to your room on a tray us THE most civilized way...

We stayed at the Roma Boutique recently with some friends from the UK, the hotel is in an excellent location, very safe and quiet, we walked to all the major attractions (even in the 37 degree heat) and the hotel staff were exceptional (Thankyou Alessandro). If you are looking to stay in Rome then this hotel will not disappoint you.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
