Stayed here for 4 nights in 4 bed dorm. Hostel staff were nice. Bathroom and bedrooms were cleaned daily (proper cleaned) the bunks aren't as rickety as other hostels and have racks to dry your towel/hang clothes. The breakfast is cheap and very filling! Cocktails from the bar were good and cheap. And the hostel prints off booking forms if...

I had the best time of my life here at this hostel. I got there before check in, I was able to store my bags in the luggage room while I went and explored the city. When I got back I checked in the guys at the desk were super friendly! Gave me a wrist band for discounted drinks and...

4 of us spent here 6 nights in the 6 bed dorm. The staff was really nice and friendly from the beginning. Our room had a perfect location, balcony and it was really calm too. It was super cleaned too and had everything what a hostel room need. The Yellow Bar next to the hostel serves amazing breakfast and food...

Honestly so worth it. Traveled all around and this place by far was the best. Very nice and clean. Also very kind staff. This place is a must! It is in good location to many touristy sights about a 15ish minute walk. And the bar across the street is always full, in a good way!

This place was great but was quite disjointed in it's layout. The reception area is on one side of the street, with common areas and kitchen downstairs. Then across the other side of the street is a bar/restaurant and rooms where I stayed. My room was a six bed dorm with thin walls and shared bathroom down the hall. The...

I stayed here for 3 nights, staying in a 6 person mixed dorm, across the street, next to the bar bit. The first night my room mates all seemed really cool, however I got in late, and was joining a pub crawl, so it was a thing of hi and bye, and they were leaving the next day, which was...

Very nice hostel! I loved the common areas, they had so many things to do. Tours to Nápoles, bike tours, walking tours and much more. They had Xbox and little cinema were you can watch movies. The rooms had a lot of space and the lockers too! Just a few blocks away from the metro station, which was very convenient

Was so impressed with this hostel. From the modern sleek decor to the friendly staff I thought this place was perfect. My room was equipped with good wifi, comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms (body wash, hairdryer included!). Everything seemed clean too. Location is in a quiet area, but there are other hotels around so still plenty of people walking by....

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Termini station less than ten mins walk. Lots of places to eat. We stayed in a private room, it was a bit compact but equipped with all modern amenities. Had issue with the flush but it was fixed. It is definitely a party hostel and exactly what we wanted, met some cool people. I...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
