At a walking distance from Roma Termini. Altough I stayed here only one night, but the experience was good. Staff was helpful. After check out I left my Luggage @ reception and collected it back after 4 hours of check out. Room was good with free wifi. Mattress was good to sleep.

I was rather worried before we check-into this hotel as none of us speak Italian. However, I was impressed with the hotel. The staff were helpful and we were able to communicate with basic English. The breakfast was good, both adults and kids were happy to dine in. This hotel has a heater so during winter if you need to...

Hotel Camelia is out of the centre of Rome however is only a short distance walk from the Termini where you can catch the Metro or Buses to see the sights of Rome. The rooms are a nice size and very clean with huge beds. The staff were very helpful and gave us tips of how to get to places...

We stayed at this hotel last week for our 10 year anniversary and we were very pleased! It was our first time in Rome and the hotel manager was very accommodating and gave us a very nice room and champagne for our anniversary. The room was cheerful, open and very updated and clean! We would definitely stay at this hotel...

Very helpful crew and nice place to stay if you are visiting Rome. I liked the ambiance of my room, wonderful for couples, I would definitely choose it again if I come back to Rome. I would advise people to choose Camelia as a place to stay.

Hotel Camelia was very good. Centrally located near The Termini and several major bus lines (62,60, 38 & 360) and Metro stops. Hotel Camelia is right across the street from a major Police Station so it is very safe. It is near some excellent restaurants and cafes. There is a flea market right across the street on the side of...

Our first time to Rome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. They have continental breakfast with awesome coffee made to order! The location is perfectly located in the heart of the city and easy access to anywhere attractions are spotted. Directly across is the police station so we felt safe and just a few blocks from the train terminal station....

I stayed here with a companion for 4 nights. The hotel is well located about 5 minutes walk from the Republica tube station and associated buses. As a result the hotel also isn't too far from the Termini Station. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from the centre, the Vittoriano and the Forum, so well located. For anyone visiting...

Camelia is a great little hotel close to Termini station making it easy to get around all the sites. Our room was small but very clean with a huge comfortable firm bed, air-conditioning and very quiet considering the city location. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. Breakfast is a continental buffet style with...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
