I arrived at the hotel on October2nd,2019 for a two night stay and I encounter one of the worst and rude front desk agent I ever come across. She started saying we are in Italy so I need to speak Italian which I told her I don’t only English then she rolled her eyes upset because I didn’t speak Italian . Rooms are in the small size , we have twin beds no comforters at all only bed sheets . Then when I asked for more towels she told me extras are 5€ , unbelievable!! You need to leave your room key at the front desk 😒!! Then the second day I was wake up by the fire alarm three times, front desk called to informed they were testing them which I later found out not even housekeeping staff was aware of this. I was never informed about this at check in then there were some construction at the hotel as well which again I was not informed. I couldn’t sleep at all decided to leave room so when I came back later in evening my room was not served by housekeeping at all. It was a total disappointment staying at this hotel, the good part was their WI-Fi which was high speed. I tried to contact hotel 4 times and I never got a respond to solve this issues. I suggest find another hotel, do not stay here.…
Breakfast was fine, the room was very clean; was cleaned daily. Also new towels were brought in dailh. The owners of the hotel are friendly. Another plus is the air conditioning, which is rare for a 3 star hotel. Don't let the area put you off, it's very safe with many affordable restaurants in the hotels vicinity. I also recommend checking out the gelato shop nearby which was founded in 1880.
The host was ok, not unfriendly. The room was very clean and the room got cleaned every day. The walls aren’t that thick, woken up in the morning by the shower upstairs and inconsiderate guests not closing doors quietly. But had a really good sleep and comfy and clean beds. Breakfast was average. Not loads of choice but options of croissants, doughnuts, cake, rolls, one cheese, salami, biscuits, salad, hard boiled eggs or cereals. The coffee machine made really nice coffee. I would stay here again but wouldn’t be my first choice. if you’re up for walking it’s a good location. 15 mins walk to the coliseum.
Our Europe trip was going great till we decided to stay in this hotel, this was our worst experience of life 1- upon reaching the hotel which was quite late, around 11:30 in the night, coz of our train schedule, we asked for stay for just a night, the owner casually asked for how many days are you in Rome, to which we replied 3, to our shock, he refused to give us room for a night after that, he said now u hv to take our room for 3 days or you leave the hotel, we r not giving for just a night, knowing very well that at that hour of night, we won't b able to go anywhere else, he forced us to book for entire Rome trip, when we asked to see the room, he flatly refused, he forced us to pay for the room which he didn't even show us 2- we had an early flight and wanted to hv just a cup of tea in the morning we checked out, the breakfast timing was from 7:30, we took coffee from the vending machine at 7:20, he came, ordered us to pay extra for the coffee since we took coffee 10 minutes before the breakfast time 3- breakfast was from 7:30 to 10,but even if you reach by 9, nothing wud be left to eat, as they wud never refill, 4- the time of check out, they forced us to wait even when we were getting late for our flight, coz their staff was in the room checking and counting the towels and bedsheets 5- never ever came across such a rude owner who wud yell at the guests, never ever Plz avoid this hotel if you don't want to spoil ur entire trip…
Very nice clean hotel. Lovely couple runs the hotel. Very helpful. Had cute little terrace off of our room. Breakfast also included. Sweet breakfast staff. Very secure. Person at the front desk 24 hours a day. Close to train station and other public transportation.
Rough part of town, graffiti everywhere and lots of people yelling when we walked from Termini. About 30-40mins walk from most tourist sites. The room was actually not too bad. Clean, size was OK. We had a terrace. Breakfast was basic but edible. 3 out of the 4 staff we encountered were lovely. The other lady was extremely abrupt and rude. It really put us off the whole place. Would I stay here again? Probably not.
The place is run by a happy couple of elderly who are always at your disposal and enjoy their work. Breakfast though basic is OK. I was missing something warm (eggs, bacon), but I'll leave it here as a mere suggestion. Rooms comfortable, spacious and reasonable for the price.
Very basic hotel. Was clean. Breakfast was not anything to brag about, just basic but nice. Good to stay here if you are on a budget. Owners are lovely. Supermarket across the road. Nice restraunt around the corner and not too far to most attractions.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, couple years back. The hotel is close to Termini, which helps if you plan to travel by train. I was concerned about the safety of the surrounding after reading reviews. But we didnot have any issue. We felt the hotel was more like a guest house. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good, they prepared special salad for us when they came to know that we are vegetarian. The staff was very kind and polite. I would stay here, if I visit Rome again.
Stayed here 4 days nice clean room, good breakfast. Location OK tram stop just in front of door. Arriving from Termini train station catch bus 15 or tram 4.A family run hotel, very helpful , nothing is a problem. You feel like one of the family not a guest. Lovely doggy named Neve.I would stay again.phone n. 0677206094 @ : principeeugenio@gmail.com
