Nice little hotel near central station. The area is not great, a bit shabby, but well located if you need access to the train station. Friendly staff, clean and cosy. I git a good price (70€) due to a last minute booking offer.

What a fantastically well run bed and breakfast, bravo! Good room, excellent shower room, all facilities and so spotlessly clean. The breakfast had a huge selection of pastries, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, toast & jams, plus amazing coffee. Also loved that it was a family run establishment, very friendly and welcoming. I would certainly recommend to friends and return...

This is a gem of place. Location is excellent, a 10minute walk from the central Termini train station. Access to bus, trolley and Metro right at hand. Walking distance to one of my favourite restaurants, La Carbonara (see my review). My room was spacious, bright, and super clean. A small fridge, some fruit and some bottled water were also provided....

I recently stayed with my family and booked two rooms which included breakfast. The B&B is located in two buildings that I think house other B&Bs and I think some people may live there. The rooms are located in apartments. One of the rooms had a shared kitchen area within the apartment but the other had no shared area. You...

La Casa di Amy is in an odd area of Rome, but access to metro and train station was great. The room we had was simple and had the basic necessities, however the bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the water pressure was really bad. Safe deposit box that was in the room also didn't work. We thought it was...

Had a spacious double room in an apartment with wifi and aircon (essential in the Roman summer!) and ensuite and with a big comfy bed. Not posh but very clean and quiet. Breakfast is in the next apartment but was fresh and a huge choice. The best thing though is the staff. From the guy serving breakfast, the chaps in...

Wonderful Family-run, small apartments mixed with residential apartments; GREAT security (3 keys: one to enter the wooden door into the central patio from the street, 2nd to enter your passage way on your specific floor [shared with 3 or 4 other apartments], and finally a 3rd for you accommodation). The rooms are simply furnished, complete bathroom & good shower &...

The hotel is in good and central location near Termini station for those who do not want to carry their suitcases around the city. Nice design of the room, clean and comfortable. Nice and helpful welcoming and good breakfast. The only problem was the noise from the neighbor air condition.

The best location, 3-5 min. walk from Rome Termini Station -I could walk with my suitecase. Safe/good for solo-girl traveler. There were triple keys to get into your room. The room is simple and not large, but enough to stay with comfort. Staff are familiar and helpful!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
