I took my son for a five day stay here and Angel Hotel was ideal, within easy walking distance of both the Vatican and the bridges to cross the Tiber we walked everywhere. The bus stop is just around the corner making further to reach sights easily reached. The Hotel and area both felt safe and were clean. There are...

Awful. It was disgusting. Bedding was stained and dirty. Towels weren't clean. Walls need paint. No tv or phone. The room was small. But the cost was cheap so you get what you pay for. Not too bad if only for a night or two.

We found our stay here very pleasant and the staff were wonderfully accommodating and helpful. The location was ideally situated, just a short walk from Vatican City, Spanish Steps and with most of the other tourist attractions easily accessible. The hotel itself is a beautiful old roman building, with thick walls, marble staircases and tall ceilings. There was no breakfast...

Spent 2 midweek nights at this hotel (were there for Wednesday Papal Audience). Nice solid hotel. Hotel arranged for transfers from Fiumicino Airport for 49 euro which is about a 35 min drive. Check in and receptionist was smooth. Reception only require to see your passports to complete their forms. We did not need to leave passports with reception. Room...

The hotel is reasonably priced taking into account its location. The room was clean, good size, the bathroom was big. The location is excelent and we walked everywhere. It is a very ritzy area and we felt safe on the streets even at 2am ( 3 females without a male companion). The receptionists were very friendly and informative, we never...

We booked this hotel for 1 night prior to joining a tour group in Rome. We heard (from TripAdvisor) that it had some problems with thieves, and once we checked in we realized why. It was obvious that our room had been broken into before - the door frame was mangled and I could push it open without much force...

Do not expect a big room or a design bathroom. Hotel is well situated (10 minutes walking from Piazza Spagna or Vatican City), clean and quiet. Receptionist was friendly and compared with other hotels in Rome price was good (59 euros). If you return to the hotel after 21:00 you will have to go to another hotel in the same...

I spent a week at this lovely and personable hotel. My first impression was my experience with the woman at the front desk. She understood I was traveling alone therefore took special care to explain the layout of the city and points of interest....even where I should use public bathrooms. I was delighted to see how clean the room was...

I choose angel hotel rather other hotels nearby because of the prices. Located near the Vatican City, is not far away from the rest of the attractions. There’s no breakfast room and lack of common places. The tiny reception is placed on the street and rooms are located in the first floor. This might be negative, but in the other...

"Angel Hotel is a small hotel near the Castel Sant Angelo, and a few steps from the Vatican city. We booked a triple room with three separate beds in a room quite spacious. Attention has been phenomenal. Young people at reception desk. We were worried about some negative reviews but at the end we decide to try.The only problem is...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
