This hotel worked out cheaper than a hostel for the 2 nights we stayed in Rome. The room had no air conditioning and the TV did not work. There was a free buffett breakfast which included croissants, toast, eggs, etc. It's about a 20 min walk from Termini train station and its in a bit of a "shady" area. However...

Don't bother this hotel is more like a backpack hostel situated in an area of Rome they don't want you to see hardly a place to holiday situated well away from the tourist attractions. However it was clean . The staff were very helpful. The brochure said good position but for what

€10 for internet!?! And it doesn't work?!? Hindsight is 20/20. I wish we had listened to what others were saying. This place is absolute garbage. Check-in: Check in is supposedly at 2pm. We weren't able to check in until MUCH later, even though we had stopped by at noon to drop the luggage of, so they knew we were around....

Yes, the hotel is kind of far from the touristic attractions. Yes, the room was small, the furniture was old, it was rather loud (it is near the railway), it had some mold here and there and you had to pay for wi-fi. Oh, and let's not forget the creepy painting hanging from the wall besides the bed... But, as...

Ew, was the first thing that came to my mind right when I stepped in. I have been to much better hotels, some great, some not so much but every time you could at least enjoy your stay and the room didn't repel you from staying inside, it was welcoming. In this hotel however... Issues: - No free internet, have...

The location is a bit far from the touristic attractions. You have to pay € 10 for Wi-Fi which doesn't work properly. The staff is not friendly: during the night the staff is sleeping and it takes sometimes 15 minutes before they answer the doorbell. It was very cold in the hotel. Bathroom contains lots of mold, some parts in...

Although the previous reviews are not very encouraging, I confirm I have had a good time in this hotel. I have stayed there for a month and it really became my home, as I was for the first time in Rome and with no member of my family. Strong points: not far from the touristic objectives, if you like walking...

This Hotel 's name is very Simple and can speak easily. So we can tell bus driver , or taxi driver quickly. The Hotel's breakfast is also simple, and can use coffee machine repeatedly in the morning time, 8AM to 10:30 or 11:00(!?) Bad thing for this Hotel is Roma's public road. As u see, Roma's public stret is very...

It's very sad to say but this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed. Our travel agent recommend this hotel and booking.com had 4.5 star rating so we never looked at tripadvisor ratings. Our saga started with the receptionist saying that our room will not have hot water so we were OFFERED a night at a nearby hotel. I...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
