This hotel is in a fantastic location in the heart of Rome and we had a deluxe room with a balcony with the most incredible view over the Forum and the Victor Emmanuel Monument. The room was small as others have said but who cares when you have a balcony with that view - I could have sat out there...

Hotel Romano is in an EXCELLENT location! It is within walking distance of the Roman Forum, Colosseum, & delicious restaurants. We requested a balcony for our first room & our room overlooked a bunch of rooftops, but the room was larger than most. After we went to Florence & returned to Rome our room had a beautiful city view overlooking...

A great hotel situated about 5 minuets walk away from the coliseum. Other attractions were also very close within walking distance of the hotel. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. We had a very clean room with a bath and a powerful shower. The only negatives were there was hardly any wardrobe space we were two adults staying for...

I had a single room in the Hotel Romano and it was perfect for solo travel. The room itself had a wardrobe, a desk, a fridge (with minibar) and a comfortable single bed. The bathroom was a good size for Rome with a great shower that was always hot and powerful. Only downside is the noise levels - if you...

Everything is small from the lobby, to the elevator to the room but it is very clean and nicely decorated and location is wonderful. The service is wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel, particularly if would too be near the colosseum and forum.

I stayed in a single room for couple of nights and have to say had a very nice stay! The location has to be the biggest compliment to the place, as everything is so convenient! The hotel doesn't do breakfast though, which did not disturb me at all, as I'm not the breakfast fan personally anyway. For the coffee and...

Excellent location, only 5 mins walk to Colosseo, 10 mins walk to Piazza Venezia. Tidy and clean room, suitable for solo travelers and couples. However, the room is easy to hear the next room guest's talking.

My husband and I stayed at this fabulous hotel in June for 3 nights on our first trip to Rome and we wish we had been staying longer. We had booked the superior room with the balcony overlooking the Roman Forum and what a view it was to wake up to in the mornings! The staff were all so friendly...
