Excellent budget hotel. I booked private room for 3 nights. Room and washroom was a bit small but large enough to easily accomodate our luggage and us easily. Room given was very quiet. Both bangali receptionist were very helping and quick to respond on our query. This place is next to termini station hardly 100 meters so location was perfect....

This feels more like a boarding house than a Hotel as advertised on Booking.com. The room is smallest I ve ever stayed in, not to mention the shower. To access this so called hotel, you must enter a heavily locked door and walk up a narrow flight of stairs. To get to the bedroom you access another heavily locked door,...

I used booking.com to book a double bed room for 2 nights for me and 2 more friends. We got there just in time to do the check in and the receptionist (from Bangladesh) said that my credit card didn't pass. He also said that the room wasn't ready yet. We gotta wait 45min in order to put our stuff...

The hotel is very close to the central train station and to the centre of the city. It has comfortable rooms and kind staff. Its location is also good to visit historical places. Ideal for the ones that don't want to spend much for accomodation in Rome.

Hotel located near Termini in a building with 2 other small hotels. Rooms were modern and clean, but the shower situation was awful. Shower head just trickles if you attempt to shower in the morning. Evidently the plumbing system in the building is archaic. Trying to adjust water temperature was a nightmare, scolding hot or cold. Stayed there 3 nights...

We are a french couple on a love trip in roma and arriving in termini station the hotel is three minutes walk, so very conveniente surrounded by several restaurants and coffee shops. The room was nice, cleaned every day and fitted with fridge. But the highlight was the staff, (Rito) the receptionist was a nice person who was always helpful...

Hotel was OK. Location excellent, only couple of minutes from Termini station. Air condition in room but it was always shut off when cleaning. I don't know why - it takes more energy to cool the room again instead of keeping the temperature nice all the time. Internet was not working very well, we had 4 nights and the last...

Hotel has a fantastic location only 200m from Termini station although the station itself is not so fantastic due to dozens of homeless people sleeping around its perimeter at night. We were satisfied with our "massive" rooms upstairs on the fourth floor. Smaller rooms and reception located on second. Our room had a balcony overlooking the busy street below. Needs...

The location of this hotel is very good, within walking distance from the railway terminus. The room we stayed was a bit small, but still acceptable. Impeccable service by the staff there. Overall it is good value for money.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
