This hotel is perfectly located for seeing sights, catching the hop on hop off tour bus and shopping. A few minutes walking will get you to the Trevi Fountain or Spanish Steps. There are plenty of nearby shops too. The hotel looks dodgy from outside but isn't quite as dodgy as it looks. However, our room door handle kept falling...

Perfect for a night stay in Rome. The staff were so helpful, before and during the stay. They recommended and booked 2 restaurants for us. As well as organising a lovely car for the transfer from the airport. The location was perfect, 5 mins from the fountains. Unfortunately they were being refurbished. Good value compared to other hotels around. Breakfast...

The hotel is located in the center of Rome, near the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, and a short walk from a metro station, very good location. On the day we arrived, our rome had a problem. The manager immediately called a cub and transferd us to a 4 star hotel. We came back the day after. The rest of...

Lift to all floors.Room safe worked. only 6 clothes hangers in wardrobe. Excellent choice for Breakfast on roof terrace ( inside) and staff friendly. I would ( and have) recommend...

As others have said, the hotel is in a great location and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The mini bar and drinks on the terrace were included in the price and were very thoughtful and welcome touches. The room I had was spacious, but it did smell of drains and the bathroom needed a face lift. The road...

We have just returned from a weekend trip to Rome and stayed at the Hotel La Fenice. The hotel is in a great location, close to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain and close enough to a main road so it’s easy to get around and easy to find your way back to. The windows are good enough that you...

When we got to the hotel on the first day there was a problem with our room, so they upgraded us for one night to a 4 star hotel nearby, all paid by them and organized perfectly so that it will be as smooth as possible and it were. On the second day, going back to La Fenice we got...

I booked Hotel La Fenice based on Hotels.com reviews & was disappointed. This was our longest stay in Italy on our honeymoon, 4 days in Rome over Easter. We arrived on Easter morning & our room wasn’t ready. We went to the Vatican for the Popes blessing so they said they’d bring our bags to our room when it was...

Stayed here for three nights in April. It was lovely - about a 20 minute walk from the station. The hotel is in an excellent location close to the Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain. The rooms are small, but very comfy with a good shower and plenty of wardrobe space. The room had a mini bar/fridge which was stocked up...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
