The hotel was located on the 2nd floor and the tiny lift was very authentic. The room was basic with a shower only. For the amount of time spent in the room it was fine. The breakfast was pleasant, although the room was tiny and you were leaning over each other to get to the cereals etc. The only thing...

Dear customer, We apologize if you encountered some small problems in our hotel, we always work to offer the best to have our customers and if we had communicated his discomfort we might remedy positively. However, even the slightly negative reviews help us to improve. Greetings from the Hotel Invictus

What you would expect for the star rating. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff - especially the breakfast waitress. Breakfast room very small (12 covers). So may need to wait for a table if they are busy. No other communal areas except a small reception. 20 minute walk from the centre of Rome with several surrounding restaurants. Room service limited to tea/coffee.

I have read people do not like this hotel but I would disagree. Everything it says it offers it does, the staff will happily give you maps and directions and it is very clean. Perhaps it isn't the best hotel but when you consider you pay almost nothing to stay there I was very satisfied.

The staff are very nice but the hotel needs a makeover. The dining room is so small. The bed spread cover has holes and looks dirty. I wonder if they even wash them. The whole 2nd floor smells like cigarette. The water in the shower constantly changing from hot to cold. Wifi is weak. The hotel though is close to 2 supermarkets...

I booked a very small room (it was stated in the booking information that it would be small) with a private bathroom for a very reasonable price. I just wanted somewhere to shower, sleep, and store my stuff for a couple of days - preferably near Termini. It was a bit of a walk from Termini but it was certainly...

This is not truly a 3 star hotel. The rooms are creepy and the staff is so rude. The staff from the hotel must be the ones writing good reviews on this nightmare hotel. The rooms are so tiny and poor lighting. I stayed at other 3 star hotels in Rome and it was a delight to stay at those...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
