We ordered 2 rooms last min. We got the rooms and the rooms was so dirty with bad smell. When we talk to manager we got very bad service, the manager was not nice at all!!!. The manager didn’t gave us any alternative and just scream on us. Not recommend the hotel at all.
Nightmare Ordered 2 rooms 1150€. Arrived to hotel at 8pm First room (double) was located on second floor. Walking to the room in crowded hall the laggadges can’t go through. The room wasnt clean and on a dark corner. Second room was at third floor. As we opened the door we felt the smell of mold. Looks like the room was close for few months , wasnt clean, old carpets all over the walls and mold smell all over. We came back to the reception asking to change rooms. The nice guy tried to help and spray smell at the rooms which of course didnt change the situation. We ask him to leave the hotel and get refunded. He calld the manager few times and tried to help, but the manager was rood and didnt allow it. He said we are spoiled and didnt want to talk to us. After long time we left the hotel ( it was already 10pm) finding ourselves on the street looking for another hotel. My suggestion- avoid going. There are alot of nicer hotels at rome with a niceties rooms, cheeper price and nice altitude. Waiste of money.…
My wife and I recently stayed three nights at this lovely small hotel. We were in room 109, a junior suite, which had a very comfortable king-size bed, good closet space and a sitting area. The bathroom was large, clean and equipped with a spa-style tub/shower. The room had very good air conditioning. Breakfast is served in a lovely room. There is a full range of food available, both hot and cold. Bar service is also available throughout the day The hotel has a great location, only two blocks from the Spanish Steps. Other attractions are within easy walking distance and the Spagna Metro station is very close by. Everyone we dealt with at the hotel was helpful and courteous. When my wife lost an earring in our room the staff immediately came to help her find it. Personal attention is hard to come by at many hotels, but the entire staff at Hotel Manfredi was wonderful. If we return to Rome we will definitely stay there again. Thanks Francesco and the entire team! Jack and Gina B.…
When we checked in, we were fortunate to check in by David A. David was efficient, professional, and went out of his way to get us to get us settled in. Our room was small, but lovely. David also offered to reserve a taxi the last day as we were leaving very early in the morning.
After 6 years, I returned for a 5 night stay in Rome, and it was fantastic! Coming back to this charming little hotel was everything I could wish for. Hotel Manfredi's location on the picturesque Via Margutta is a quiet, safe retreat, yet just steps from all that the centre of Rome has to offer. I enjoyed many morning and evening walks here. The staff at the hotel is exceptional. They are kind, helpful and friendly. I felt like I was staying with family. The room was a good size, very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast buffet had a good choice of items to start the day. The coffee was great! There is no restaurant on site for lunch or dinner, but that was really not a problem, as there is lots to choose from nearby. I loved my stay, and I look forward to returning. Grazie per tutto!…
Hi, we will be staying at this hotel on may 5,2022. After reading most of the reviews I am looking forward to staying here. And doing my own review. The place sounds wonderful. I hope the room is going to be big enough for my husband and I as that was probably the only thing coming off a cruise ship that makes me wonder otherwise it sounds like a beautiful place. Looking forward to meeting the people mentioned in the reviews and eating the food. I am going to give this place a five star rating based on other peoples review. Look for my after visit preview later.
We had a great stay here in a great location, 2 adults and 3 kids in 2 rooms with a connecting door. Rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated with good showers. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful - Mariella (who makes the delicious chocolate cake at breakfast) and Francesco were the 2 names I remember, but everyone we talked to was very welcoming. I also foolishly managed to leave my car keys in a drawer in the room when we left and they were kind enough to FedEx them back to us in the UK!
It was wonderful small hotel..near everything. My friend and I walked everywhere to get the feel of the city. Though..it was very cold and weather was crazy but so much fun! We loved it and staff there were so helpful. Including pharmacy to have our covid testing to get back to USA. Hope one day to visit there again. Thank you!
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in March 2022 on a trip with my eleven year old for his birthday. Amazing Location - 10 - 20 - 30 minute stroll to all sights & beside a metro. Immaculately Clean. Fresh morning coffee/breakfast - I have zero negativity. I was upgraded for free byond my economy room which was great. The staff in this hotel (Francesco) went way above and byond for me - I done something extremely silly and left my passports in the safe and remembered when the train pulled into the airport! Francesco organised safe recovery and transit of them to me at the airport & I made my flights. As my husband said any other hotel I may not have been so fortunate as to have such kind & considerate humans on hand to help and for that I am forever grateful.
this is a very small property with some great points that could make this ideal for your next Rome adventure. Some key things to note that may make it less than perfect. This is a small property with only a few rooms (10ish?) on one floor, for its size it really had good services except as noted below. DO NOT MISTAKE FOR THE OTHER HOTEL MANFREDI. That is a fancy place near the coliseum. This not that place. Tour guides made this mistake and were late getting to us so clarify with anyone meeting you there or transfers. 1. Hotel is on 3rd floor of a building with front desk on third floor as well. 2. Elevator is old and has 3 persons OR 1 person 2-3 bag limit... elevator gets a little creaky if you exceed these limits. 3. Housekeeping is not staffed in house but outsourced and the cleaning people did not change sheets or take out trash.... or really clean at all. No replacement shampoos until the day before we left when they gave us too much. We only asked for this service a couple of times and only after complaining did it improve. 4. Bathrooms small, which is often the case in hotels like this, but this should be noted. Also, even in a relatively large room king bed with tub, the shower had this weird door that make the shower space even smaller. Cannot emphasize small enough. Good stuff, and lots to recommend for this location. 1. Location is great, nice quiet street but steps from restaurants and the highlights of Rome. 2. Front desk guys in evenings super and English skills great for us non-italian speakers. 3. Breakfast ladies in a the nice, open cafe were very accommodating and breakfast totally met our needs. Nice cakes and the like baked fresh daily. Just stuff to know: 1. Beds had very hard pillows and firm mattresses. Really firm. Fine for us, not for everyone. 2. Wine at bar pricey for what it was, but good beer selection. 3. Wifi very slow and spotty to the back of the hotel 4. No parking if you are driving. Don't drive, no need at this location!!!! Spanish Steps taxi stand only 3 minute walk away.…
