Nice hotel. City centered. Cleaned every day. We had a room with street view. We stayed 2 nights. Our first breakfast was poor: a lot of guests, almost empty plates. Staff did the best they could . The second breakfast was fine. Don't forget to close the shutters , because it's noisy. We have a great time. Thank You :)

Great staff, good breakfast, everything crisp and clean in the room and bathroom. Good transport links, location fairly central. Slept very well. Perfect for a short stay (5 nights in my case). Hope to be there again soon!

Rooms at this hotel is something horrible and there is no information about paying tax at the end of the stay. Bed linen is changed once a week ... no kettle in the room, and instead of towels some tablecloths....

Dear lusika123, Thanks for expressing an opinion on our hotel.Probabilmente she booked a standard room, where there is no kettle and the dimensions are smaller. Taking a superior room, it is true that you paid more, but the room would have been different. Looking forward to welcome again, I remain with my best regards massimiliano celestini / resident manager

the staff are great, transport links are great....there are a couple of cafes and shops near by but the area is really not good! i would not like to walk around there at night alone! there is a bus stop and tram stop right outside which were great for getting around. breakfast is terrible, in fact we only tried it...

Only 30mins taxi from Ciampino airport (€40), fairly centrally located. Reception staff were great and check-in / check-out was very fast and they were very helpful to recommend directions to all tourist attractions. Nice hotel, clean and well looked after. Breakfast was fine, nothing elaborate but it kept you going.... I'd definitely go back!

Excellent choice for a quick stop over in Rome. The hotel has nice and spacious rooms and it's located within 10 minutes from Rome Termini Station. It is located on the porta maggiore square and it's great for public transport . Number 19 bus will take you straight to Vatican ,number 4 and 19 will take you to and from...

The location is fairly central and the receptionist was particularly helpful in pointing us in the right direction on the trams and the metro to visit the sights. Paolo was was especially friendly in helping us book a trip to Pompeii through the hotel with the green line tours. Only downside was there weren't many plug sockets in the hotel...

Room was nice, clean and well looked after. Towels and necessities were all kept topped up and clean. One of our bedside lamps wasn't working though the one which did provided adequate lighting for any activities we needed to do. Breakfast was great, a lot of choice. The eggs were a bit runny for me but other people seemed to...

The hotel is awful, dirty and like a nightmare. Receptionist was rude. Rooms are not like photos. Dinner was terrible. When we were at the hotel a french group of students were celebreating a party and workers of the hotel didn't pay attention to our claims. There's nothing positive to say. I won't come back even it's free.

Dear Immaculada , first of all thanks for having expressed an opinion about our hotel. The criticisms are always welcome. The people were very nice and friendly. This hotel is good to reach by bus/tram and Metro. Breakfast was good. The room was enough for us to sleep with 3 persons. The bathroom was not so big. And we missing the fridge.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
