Our room was fine, once we actually got into the hotel. When we arrived, they had lost our reservation (I booked on Orbitz). I had a copy of my confirmation from Orbitz with the confirmation code and presented it to the staff member, but the hotel was full for that night. The helpful staff member called around and set us...

do not trust the foto's they show you on the ineternet. We ended up with a room so small that we had to put our suitcases on a shelf above our bed, to get some livingspace.The room was certainly not redecorated since the 60-s. It was small, smelly, with a bad AC and a shower that kept dripping all day....

For first timers to Rome we found this hotel very well located. All of the main attractions in ancient Rome were within 20 minutes walk. The Vatican is further but the No 64 Bus is close by and will get you there in 20 minutes. The manager (who speaks 5 languages) and her team were most pleasant and helpful with...
