The location of the B&B was easy enough to find, the location within the building less so. Some clear labelling wouldn’t have gone astray. The room on the 4th floor and-they have a lift! The room was bright and large, the bathroom clean and modern with both heating and cooling(A/C). Street noise was a bit annoying but didn’t affect our...

We stayed two nights in this B&B and liked all about it. People were friendly. Good location. Easy to reach with bus. Restaurants nearby. Room clean and big for two persons. It was cold these days in Rome and we could turn the heater on. So what else you need ?

I stayed at Floreo in July and a friend of mine stayed again in August. They went above and beyond; not only is the B&B well located but it is also run by a family whom are accommodating in every way. I've booked this place again in October, for another friend flying in from Australia. It's always worth returning to...

We loved Floreo and would recommend to anyone. We stayed in the Orchid room, which was spacious, with lovely decor and a very comfy big bed. It was so convenient we walked everywhere, even from the train station Termini. Room and bathroom were fine, view is over the Home Office building which is very pleasant, the owner was very attentive....

Overall a really wonderful little guest house. The location is close to the main train terminal as well as all of the sites of Rome. We walked to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish steps, etc. The host didn't speak a lot of English but we got by and she was very kind and helpful. She brought a breakfast wheeled cart to...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
