This is a charming little hotel, elegant and intimate at the same time. I’ve stayed here several times and always recommend it to friends. It’s central and convenient to and everything and very reasonably priced. And the staff are so welcoming and helpful. What more...More
We booked for a room with double-sized bed, and got freely upgraded to a familial one.
There are free drinks that are refilled once a day in a little fridge,
Waiters and waitresses are very welcoming and nice.
The breakfast is also good.

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.

The train from the airport is the cheapest and easiest way to get to the centre of Rome it takes around 30 minutes, I think it was 10 euros. It is about 15 minutes walk to the hotel from the station. There are taxi's at the railway station. Also lots of "guides" who will take your luggage and walk you to the hotel for a tip, which probably is going to work out the same as a taxi. The people at the hotel have excellent English and even if you can't check into your room they will look after your bags and give you advice and directions about what to do and see. Most tourist attractions are a short walk from the hotel.
