Central accomodation, modern and very clean rooms with nice view and quiet location! We stayed there for three nights in the week before easterdays. We enjoyed the stay with our little baby son and had great help from the Residenza Scipioni: Grib and water boiler for the baby bottle in the room and microwave/kitchen to use for heating the baby's...

this was a really neat place to stay. The caged elevator made getting my bag up to the 5th floor easy. They were accommodating by allowing early check in. They also allowed us to leave our suitcases there the morning we checked out so that we could do more sightseeing before leaving. No complaints, everything was perfect, The room was...

Our trip to Rome was made so memorable, with the help of Federica and her staff. My partner and I just completed a 2 week tour and 2 week cruise home , Rome to Miami . A long planned trip. In Rome , Federica had a driver waiting at the airport for us to take us to the hotel ,...

We (wife & i) stayed in this B&B for 5 nights in summer of 2015. Place is very close (by foot about 10-15 min) to Vatican but at the same time dislocated from other sights of town (need to use metro or taxi), so keep that in mind. It’s located in nice neighborhood, old building (but nice), on the 5th...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was big and pleasant. The bathroom was nice also. We really couldn't complain much about the hotel. It wasn't far from the Vatican and we could see it out of our window. However the room needs a kettle so visitors can make a hot drink when the reception isn't open. Also the...

Very nice rooms in a very safe and beautiful neighborhood near the Vatican area. Our room was comfortable and very, very clean! Our hostess, Frederica was very polite and always there to help us if we needed anything. All the rooms have beautiful view since they are on the fifth floor.

Residenza Scipioni is in a beautiful building on the 5th floor. The elevator is a beauty old piece as well. The B&B has 5 rooms. I stayed in a single room. It was much bigger then the usuall single rooms in Rome. The room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom as well. It is very close to the St Peters...

What a lovely B&B. A home away from home. Martha and her husband were excellent hosts. The accommodation was excellent, the rooms are fashionably decorated and provided a very peaceful and warm atmosphere. Martha set out a scrumptious breakfast every morning along with the perfect music that created the perfect ambiance for the beautiful romantic city. The B&B is perfectly...

Six of us stayed in three rooms in September. Arranging for the rooms was outstanding with great service. Arriving to a charming building, we were checked in quickly. The rooms were clean, but small. The staff (usually one person) was pleasant, helpful and the morning breakfast was OK. The six of us are resourceful and really didn't need anything from...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
