Cannot imagine who would give this 3 to 4 stars. It is terribly rundown. As you can see from my photos. Not happy at all. Not what I expected according to the pictures I saw. Do not stay here until they do a renovation. I am a travel agent checking things out. Will not send any of my clients to...

The owners were very warm and friendly; more than happy to offer assistance and we felt well taken care of. I particularly liked the flexibility of the place - we were able to check in before 12 (not common in several hotels) and head out for sightseeing straightaway. Its location near the Termini station is convenient - also a 15-20...

The hotel is very clean, close to a metro station and Termni Station. The attendants are very nice, although they don't speak english, but it was not a problem in the end. The rooms are clean, the sheets, blankets, pillows, everything is very clean.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
