The bad!( first beacuse thats what everybody wants to know:) 1. We arrived around 22:30 due to a flight delay and we had to pay a tax of 30 euros for checking in after 20:00.This felt like a hustle! You should not be paying extra for checking in regardless of arrival time. 2. The room cleaning it is done only...

First of all we are glad that you took time to review us. Normally I do not reply unless what has been written does not match with the reality (knowing that each opnion has to be respected). As clearly stated during the reservation process the late check-in has an extra cost depending on the time of arrival (being not an...

When you search for this address and enter a building with huge wooden doors, it looks kind of shady at night but once you get inside this guest house, it is amazing and hard to believe that exists in a weird apartment complex. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. I will definitely stay there again on my trip to...

Close to public transportation; very friendly staff. Very well equipped bathroom and comfortable bed. Remember to arrange check in-time. We were able to leave the room early and leave keys and card behind in the room.

Lovely place with really friendly, helpful & welcoming hosts, Antonella and Eleanore - who were there each morning, and some evenings. We were very comfortable and really appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee, the comfy bed and the fridge in our room where we could keep milk/juice etc. Breakfast was by voucher at the Roma bar just about 5 minutes...

Great location, easily walkable to transit and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and very nice. I would definitely stay again. If you don't need property amenities (like 24hr concierge, pool, spa etc.), this is an excellent choice.

We really enjoyed this place, very nice rooms with everything you need, great staff, booked our shuttles to the airport with little notice and gave great food and activity recommendations. Breakfast was sufficient, the neighbourhood is great and near all of the sites and the subway. I highly recommend this place!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
