This is a very basic hotel ten minutes walk from Termini station. The room and bathroom were basic, but very clean. The staff were very helpful. They were very solicitous about my wife's need to refrigerate her medicine. They made suggestions about our trip to watch Roma play, and patiently answered some cultural questions. We came and went with between...

This was our second stay at the hotel. We chose to come back because of the short walk from Termini and trains, and the good restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hosts were truly surprised when we showed up with our reservation made through Tripadvisor, and they claimed that they had never received it. However, they found a room for us....

The hotel is good if you are looking for a cheap place for few nights while visiting Rome. We were sightseeing from the early morning til the late evening so this was just a place to rest after long day. The hotel is sort of clean, it is a bit dated that is why sort of. In fairness for that...

Although initially hard to find, this was an excellent budget option for staying in Rome. We had a small issue that we couldn't get in to the room with the key provided when we came in late and there were no staff around to help but this was resolved with the assistance of another guest. The accommodation is very basic...

Stayed 8 nights at this hotel in room 306, the reception personnel was very friendly and receiving no questions or fees when we broke one of the keys in the entrance it was swiftly replaced with a new one and we were back out again. Also locked our keys inside once but they quickly opened and let us in. Got...

I've stayed twice at the hotel. the second time was in a small room at the back (quiet), with a double bed - firm but very comfortable - and an en suite bathroom. everything felt as new and clean. I would happily have stayed in that room for weeks! reception is quite neutral, not particularly friendly, but simply efficient. seen...

Perfect location right beside the train station and main stop for the hop on hop off buses. Loved it's old style vintage lift. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Nice little restaurant next door!

We stayed for 4 nights in a tiny room number 303. It was clean and we did not hear noice from the Street. The elevator was an attraction it self. If the building is from 1860 so it must be as old, but it worked well. Near the hotel is good restaurants and a little shop where you can buy...

This was not my original choice. I was walked to this hotel for overbooking at my original reservation. They have a complimentary breakfast which sufficed, meats, cheeses, breads, quiches, coffee. Overall what I needed from a hotel. Staff was nice and accommodating, especially after breaking my camera and recommending where to take it to repair it. I probably won't book...

Were worried due to previous comments on what we would find, but we had no problems, room was clean, bed and bedding top notch and comfortable. Staff were pleasant. We had room 304 and bathroom was spotless. For what we paid (45 euros a night) it was very good value, would we go again, YES

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
