Was a very good stay , the people at the reception are very nice, the rooms are really cool and cozy. The breakfast is awesome , there you can eat Nutella!! In the reception are provided maps that helped us traveling on the city .

The hotel is situated close to Porta Pia, outside the great wall around Rome. This means that the taxi driver from Roma aeroport will not drive you with a fixed prize which is 50 euro, Instead we had to pay with taxameter which was 70 Euro, about 200 meters from the wall. The staff was poor in english. The room was clean...

I've booked Garden Hotel through my tour operator for a small group 18 pax for 3 nights. The situation is great and easily accessible from Termini Station, take bus line 90 and in less than 5 mins you reach the hotel. You need to get down after Porte Pia stop and walk 10 meters. So very close to busy Termini...

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Garden Rome and enjoyed our stay here. It is not a 4 star hotel but a lovely 3 star. If you are a walker you can walk to all the essential sights. Staff were really friendly (not fluent English but enough to be helpful). Recommended a brilliant restaurant, with equally friendly staff not...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“Garden rooms are lovely. Although the hotel is off a main road, we didn't hear it at all. You sometimes hear other guests wheeling their suitcases down the pathway but nothing disturbed us.”
