Perfectly placed to get to most popular attractions in Rome. Breakfast good and service from staff very good. Clean room and decent size. Only down side is parking around here but that's an issue with the place not the hotel. Definitely recommend.

Dear guest, Thank you for your wonderful review and for recommending us! We are thrilled to read it and hope to welcome you here again in the future! Ps: a suggestion for the parking: if you arrive in the afternoon or evening you will find plenty of space available to park your car, only in the mornings it is more...

We loved this hotel! We stayed during Christmas and New Year's and had an amazing time. Great location this isn't too far from many of Rome's attractions by walking. You must try the rooftop bar to enjoy a sunset, was sensational. I'd also recommend walking over to Trastevere (neighborhood across the bridge) for some of the best "local" restaurants in...

A comfortable, nice hotel in a privileged location, close to major sights, public transportation, the Trastevere restaurants, etc. Friendly reception, good service. Beautiful roof garden with breathtaking views, the ideal location for the New Year Party. Nice and quiet (Standard) room. Average buffet breakfast. Overall a positive experience, but: the exorbitant charge of €12.- for 100 cl of wine at...

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We are happy that you enjoyed your New Year’s Eve here at Hotel Fortyseven. I believe that your comment “the exorbitant charge of €12.- for 100 cl of wine at the bar was a real disappointment!” is unfair due to the fact that we serve only high quality wines, so this was not...

Really enjoyed our stay at the 47 Hotel in Rome. The location was good - a 20 min or so walk from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The facilities and breakfast were good. The staff were nice (but I wouldn't say they were outstanding - didn't particularly go out of their way, overly friendly etc). The walls of the hotel...

Dear guest, thank you for sharing your experience here at Hotel Fortyseven. I regret to read that you were not overwhelmed and that your neighbors were a bit loud, the walls, however are not thin and normally there are no complaints about the noise from the other guests so I apologize for the particularly playful children staying next to you....

A good location within walking distance of Rome's centre and the main attractions. Lovely modern rooms clean and well fitted. Very professional staff especially on reception , pleasant breakfast , slightly limited dinner menu but very relaxing bar , a real restful oasis

Fortyseven is a quaint a hotel. Close to the Jewish ghetto, synagogue and walking distance to many of Rome's greatest attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The linens and bathroom amenities are of high quality. I appreciate a work desk when I travel and my room only had a glass top table,...

I wasn't the biggest fan of this hotel because it was far from everything when it came to food. Well the only close place for food was across the Ponte Palatino bridge but its a bit ghetto. We visited during the day and the night and it is more of a college scene during the night with wild drunken students....

Dear guest, I regret to read, and it is very surprising, that you considered Hotel Fortyseven “far from everything when it came to food” since actually we are only a few steps from Trastevere where you can choose among all kinds of restaurants, from famous “trattorie” to pizza places , we are also very close, walking distance to the Jewish...

Our stay at Hotel 47 was wonderful! Staff was friendly and very accommodating to our every need. Rooms were very nice and roomy. The bar was cozy and quaint, and breakfast was delicious. We didn't make time to eat at the restaurant but the menu looked wonderful! Location couldn't have been better. We would definitely stay here again

Staying in Aventine

Neighbourhood Profile
Aventine
Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is Rome’s oasis. A neighbourhood made up of a patchwork of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of surprises like the clever little keyhole at the Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find a line) along with Parco Savello (Giardino degli Aranci) next to the ancient Santa Sabina church. Keep your eyes on the 1960s architecture, several modern buildings are built atop Rome’s original 4th century BC wall.
