Highly recommend staying here. The room was perfect for us, two adults and two children. Cleaned every day. Bathroom lovely and especially nice powerful hot shower. Located in lovely area of Prati in a nice building. Marcelo on reception was really nice. Welcoming and so helpful with tips on places to visit and eat etc. We all enjoyed our stay so much. The added bonus of breakfast at nearby restaurant Salvatore De Matteo was great. You can have capachino or coffee with juice. Then have a choice of pastries plus bread and jams. This was plenty and a great start to the day. Highly recommend staying here if coming to Rome, excellent value for money.

We are staying here now, leaving tomorrow. Great hotel in a great location. Situated on a typical pretty street, close to river and walking distance to all the sites. Easy check in with room available a little early. Marcello was very friendly and gave us lots of useful info on sites and places to visit. Room was very clean and ideal for our stay. Comfy beds, good bathroom and great shower. Keys given for room, floor and main door so you could come and go as you please. Very small lift if needed as rooms on 2nd floor. Would highly recommend and would say better than a 2 star ⭐⭐⭐

we stayed here a few years ago. Before the current owner took over. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE ... Turned away important documents they promised to accept. The beds were the worst we have seen anywhere in the world. They give one tiny bar of soap for 2 people every 2 days. When we had to rush to the hospital after falling Ill, he came banging at the door before check out. Demanding payment, even though he had the credit card numbers...insulted us for being "poor As we were back packing. Horrible dirty part of town. Better hotels in Rome for this price with swimming pools. GIAN LUCA ACTED AS IF ANY SIMPLE REQUEST WAS A MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. COMPLAINED HE WORKS TOO MUCH. NOBODY EVER AT THE DESK, NO SECURITY CAMERAS. DONT BOTHER WITH THE 6 EURO BREAKFAST, YOU JUST HEY COFFEE, THE PASTRY OF THE MANAGEMENT'S CHOICE AND A WHOLE LOT OF ATTITUDE..PLACE WAS FILTHY COMPARED TO 2013..WOULD GIVE 0 STARS.. MADE DEROGATORY REMARKS ABOUT OUR DISABILITY, AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION...DO NOT STAY HERE.…

Response from ResidenzaRoma1, Proprietario at Residenza Roma

THIS IS A COMPLETELY FAKE REVIEW!!! When you checked out, escorted by the police, you clearly stated “we will ruin you with the reviews.” We do not mind answering to all your provocation, but we would really like to inform those who read your review about who we had to deal with. Firstly, we host 11,000 guests every year and we do not make any sort of discrimination based on skin colour, nationality or sexual orientation. We never take into consideration these aspects of our guests. We think it is shameful that you even stated you were disabled just to discredit the property. We had to call the police upon your check-out because your attitude towards the staff member on duty became very aggressive at the front desk and you even tried to run away without paying. Luckily the police arrived on time. You were under the influence of alcohol at 9 am and this says it all. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about it. With all the guests we host, things like this can happen. We certainly hope this is the last time!

The location is ideal, specially if you want to see the entire city by foot. The people in the reception were not always there, but they always left a note about who is in charge and a contact number. That didn't bother us because we where not much arround. However thery where pleasant and helpful. Our on;y concern was about sound insulation, mainly because we could here conversations from outside the room, and we can't be sure about what was heard from outside.

At first we thought “oh no” more like a guesthouse than a hotel....3 keys, one for the building, one for the hotel and one for the room...lift is so small one person and one suitcase is all it will hold..but the room was quiet, clean and the bed comfortable...shower was good and kept clean...what this has got going for it is location..just a few mins to the river and we did all the attractions on foot...st Peters was about 15 mins walk away..breakfast was off site, a small restaurant down the street but it was adequate...staff were friendly when they were there.. usually mornings and late afternoons....reception was unattended for most of the day...we would stay there again mainly because of the location..

500 m from Via del Corso, I call it right in the middle of Rome. A special kind of reception, giving no troubles for us. And a special kind of breakfast (200 m away) also OK for us The room OK, and the staff very kind and helpful. All the critics concerning pillows, beds, noise a.o.: It depends, generally no worry!

We really enjoyed our stay. My partner and I are easily pleased so we had no problems with the room although some people may have slight issues with things such as "room we were given was not as big as what they looked" and "noise from air conditioning". They were only the minor issues we had but it did not affect our stay. The room is in a lovely location right beside the Piazza Cavour. Parts of rome are very busy it was nice to stay in this area as it helped us unwind after a lot of chaotic days of being a tourist. I would recommend this property especially for the staff. They take great care of all their guests and really make you feel safe. If you are looking for a place to crash and unwind after a busy day this is perfect for you.

To start the staff was very very helpful and friendly, specially Julia. Other than that don't stay here. The beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable, extremely hard! As in you wont be sleeping at all, possible as bad as just sleeping on the floor. Besides that, you can hear everyone entering and leaving their rooms. If you are looking for a place to rest after long days of walking in Rome this is definitely not the place. Not worth it at all.

This place was wonderful. My wife and I stayed here with our two little daughters in the incredibly hot month of July. The Residenza Roma staff were so nice. The room was clean and in a great location, and the AC worked well. We had forgotten to print our airplane tickets for our departure flight. The staff made to sure to print these for us and slip them under our door so we had them for our early am flight. I wholeheartedly endorse this place, felt like an italian oasis.

Very friendly and helpful staff, which gave us a really good introduction into the most important places of the city and some fantastic restaurant recommendations. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathroom is also good. All you need for a city trip.
