I've been in this amazing B&B with my husband from 30/10 to 05/11, to enjoy halloween parties in Rome. The owner is a very friendly and smart guy and he suggested us a lot of funny things to do. Our room was so cute, clean e so Italian Style, I was feeling like in the movie "Vacanze Romane". Delicious breakfast,...

The b&b has perfect location for visiting the sights by day and exploring the restaurants and bars by night. Its central location allows you to reach almost everything on foot if you have enough time. The hosts were very kind and helpful! The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom could use some minor improvements, but all in all it...

Great location! Only 10-20 minutes walking to almost all tourists` locations in the city, 20 minutes walking to the Vatican. The stop of tram 8, bus H and night bus 8 are in front of the building. Many places to eat and go for a walk in the area. The room was very clean and cozy. And most of all the...

I will comment on this b&b b in a pro/con fashion. Pros: location +++++ tram right out front. Number 8 to Piazza Venezia from where everything you need to see is within walking distance. Around Trastevere you can walk to nice restaurants, cafes etc. And take in the quaint old streets of this area. Value for money +++ Rome is...

Great location for a break in Rome, the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Giorgia. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and just a short walk from all the major sights. Breakfast was pretty basic but next door is a great little cafe.

We spent several days in a clean and nicely furnished hotel-type room with a bathroom in an apartment ran by friendly Italian lady. Small shared kitchen with an Italian-style breakfast ready every morning. Considering the area, low price for such a accommodation. Would come back!

An absolute gem! Perfect location! Very clean hotel, spacious room with balcony!! When you step out onto the balcony first thing in the morning you can feel the city waking up...it's magical and weird seeing such a mixture of people, shop owners, those on their way to work...how can they have a normal day?? It's ROME, tourists, nuns!! I could...

Rooms spacious, clean with balcony to the street or courtyard. Location great for Trastevere but also for other side of Tevere since both trams and buses run on the street just outside the door. Next door there is a great and cheap supermarket for that hotel room bottle of wine and bag of crisps:) Walls and doors are thin, yes,...

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
