We went for this hostel because hostelworld had give it a decent rating worked out around £20 a night for a private double bedroom. However the place looked as if it had been painted and furnished in the 80s and really needed some love. The wifi doesn't work at all unless you sit in some random room they have with... More

I booked a double room which was quite clean, nice comfortable bed and the hotel itself is at proximate distance to all the major attractions like Colosseum is just 15 minutes walk from the hotel along with the Termini station right next it. The hotel staff is amazing, always helpful especially Imran Khan who helped me with all the booking... More

First off, I stayed in many hostels while travelling around Europe and so I was no virgin when it came to rubbish hostels but this one really took the biscuit. I had my passport, ehic, bank card and driving license stolen here- while Im aware this is not the hostels fault, more of a fault of the area and the... More

We stayed here during August, it was above 30 degrees every single day and the air con in the room was just awful! We were kept up at night by just how hot it was. The wifi was odd - it would connect up but not let you use it and there was no log in page. You have to... More

I, my wife and our children, stayed at the hostel during 4-10 Aug.16. The hostel is at 5 minutes walk from Roma Termini (bus) and metro station, a big plus. And it is very close to the budget eateries and a large budget grocery store. Especially considering its price, the accommodation is satisfactory. However, its kitchen hygiene, especially washrooms, require... More

I've chosen this hostel because of its location. About 5 minutes walk from Termini's train and bus station. You have to know that's it's really hard to find the hostel. The name is writting in tiny letters on the door bell outside the building. I had reserved a bed in a 4 beds dorm, and turned out they gave me... More

Positives: right near the train station, cheap, basic kitchen with fridge, dorm rooms are comfortable single beds. Negatives: there was one small lamp that worked in the room. Most of the lamps are broken. The person who checked me in didn't even show me where the bathroom was. One loud fan in the room so it's hot and loud all... More

I was a bit skeptical about staying here given some of the bad reviews. However, it was suprisingly nice. The rooms were clean and quite spacious with comfy single beds rather than bunk beds. Bathrooms weren't the best but good enough. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing is that this hostel is a bit hard to find as... More

It was a great place and super comfortable , the rooms are nice and clean. The reception is always available. The location is near the Termini station, and has a beautiful church , with good cafes around. Certainly when I return to Rome , I'll be in Beauty hostel

We stayed in private room with bathroom. We did not enjoy our stay in that hostel due to the following reasons: - Smell of dust in the room and a lot of dust under the bed. - No hot water in the shower. - More than half of the lights were not working in the room we stayed. - One... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
