We recently returned from our trip to Rome. We stayed at the River Chateau Hotel for 4 nights and it exceeded all of our expectations. This hotel was beautiful! The breakfasts were amazing and very satisfying. All of the upgrades made that are included in this hotel made our stay so easy and enjoyable. We would recommend this hotel to...

Nothing bad to say about the hotel, fantasticly comfy and well decorated rooms. Only downside is the distance from town and directions given by the hotels web page its self. Best way there from town; Line A to Flaminio then jump on either the number 2 tram or 2 bus ( N25 at night) until you reach the bridge at...

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights following a cruise. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated. Staff are all pleasant, helpful, approachable and extremely professional. Nothing would appear to be too much trouble for them. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms delightful. Can't praise it enough and will most certainly be returning! Will be recommending to...

Lovely hotel. Unexpectedly, room had a balcony which was ideal for relaxing after a busy day in Rome. Good service from a small bar serving drinks and sandwiches. Breakfast excellent, well presented in a lovely breakfast room. Hotel fairly close to bus stop for transport to city centre, although quite a distance to walk. Tabac shop close by to purchase...

I stayed at the River Chateau with my husband and daughter after researching numerous hotels in Rome. We definitely made the right decision to stay here. Our triple standard room was beautiful and spacious by European standards. It was very hot while we were in Rome and our room was a cool, clean respite after a long day sightseeing. The...

We planned to stay for 3 days but it turned into 5. We had adjoining rooms, one room with a King bed and one with two singles for our teenagers. The rooms were nice and clean and the satellite TV and internet were good. It is 10 minutes outside the city centre which we found perfect. There are good restaurants...

My wife had business in Rome so I tagged along and we had a long weekend in Rome 30 Jan - 4 Feb 2009. The hotel is beautiful and our room was elegant. We had one of the rooms at the rear of the hotel that had a small balcony. Though the view was of neighboring buildings and rooftops, it...

We stayed at River Chateau for 5 nights this August - Rome was one of our last stops after 6 weeks travelling through Europe. We found that the standard in Europe was much lower to the standard are used to here in Australia. All other hotels which we booked were terrible, no aircon, dirty sheets, hard rocky beds & very...

We stayed there for our honeymoon. It was a great choice for our money. Room is excellently decorated and furbished, breakfast is huge and delicious and the staff was kind, too. The only backdraw is that the AC is controlled centrally, and you cannot turn it off, even if your toes are freezing in the middle of the night. Although,...

Very nice quite hotel. Rooms are clean and classy. Pick one with the balcony facing rear and you will have a nice view. The hotel is 2 minutes from the river, after 8PM - crowds of teens, tourists, lot's of fun (they had a boxer match organized right on a street one night), lot's of cafes and etc., very safe...
