Everything is fine, good location, just 1 block behind the busy streets, quiet enough but not far away from train station. Decent breakfast. One disappointment was shortage of hot water during shower! I only took 5 minutes for the shower but the hot water was turning into cold water gradually.

The room space was big enough, but the shower room was too small to move around. The location is perfect, not very crowded or busy, but really near the train station. There are a lot of restaurants around the area. The staff was fine but they couldn't understand English well. Too cold during the night and the blanket in the...

Located just few steps from main railway station. Location really heart of Rome, you can reach an easy walk the Colosseum or Vatican. The room nothing special, easy but clean. Breakfast also OK, not just toast and juice!

Unfortunately we recently had to cancel a holiday to Rome. Hotel RomAntica was understanding of our need to cancel, very good at communicating with me and refunded the amount quickly. When I manage to return, I shall certainly be booking with them again.

Hotel Romantica We enjoyed our great value stay at this hotel Rom Antica (RM) and considering we got 5 days and 4 nights with flights for £280 for 2 people in mid-December it is amazing. Breakfast 7-9.30am, check in midday and check out 11am. At the end are the pros and cons of the hotel but let me give you...

Nice and clean. We were here in December and we had to ask the heating directly at the reception. The cleaning service kept the window open every day so it was cold (8-10 degree) when we arrived back from the city... The breakfast was delicious and enough.

Spend here 4 nights. Reception- always someone there to help you. English is good so you don't have to worry. Breakfast- basic. 3 types of cereal, milk, orange juices, coffee, tea, water, jams, butter, chocolate spread. Sweet croissant (plain, chocolate or vanilla pudding-very tasty). Bread, toasts, ham and cheese. You have grill available , so toasts can be done nice...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
