My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Orlanda. It is located in an old building very close to the Termini. Yes, the elevator is small. Yes, the rooms are not luxurious and not huge. But the price was very very reasonable and when you compare Orlanda to other 2 star hotels with this price range in other major...

The hotel is on the third floor of a large building with a courtyard. You may wonder what you signed up for when you see the tiny elevator, but it somehow is adequate. The bathroom was updated and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have a fridge and cable tv with a large number of...

The room was really good and the staff very helpful! Dropped here for a quick week end break and it was a pleasure staying there and I'm definitely going to come back there next time I'm going to visit Rome!

What a nice surprise we had! Don't let the exterior of the building that hotel is in fools you. The building and the courtyard looked old and not well kept but the hotel was totally different. My DH and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights 3 weeks ago. Location: The hotel is 2 blocks away from Termini train...

This hotel is spotless very clean in a great location. Room was very small and basic elevator is tiny but worked well. We left early so they'd didn't have breakfast ready. Fast checkin with helpful front desk person.

Friendly, helpful staff. The room was a good size and clean. Nothing fancy. There are several hotels in this one building, and Orlanda is on an upper floor, but there is an elevator. Breakfast provided was good. We would stay there again. Low price in November.

Friendly people, always willing to help. The lift too small. Had to pay an extra amount While checking out as city tax , which did come as a surprise. This was not mentioned while I did the booking. Limited choice for breakfast, but considering it was only € 3 , it was not a bad deal. Overall I would recommend...

Visited with friends for 2 nights in September. On the third floor of an old charming building. Tiny elevator. Clean basic room with comfy beds. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast available for a small fee. Good location with lots to do and see nearby. Bars, restaurants and stores close by and pastry/gelato shops as well. YUM

It is close to the main terminal station. Hotel was very nice, the room was clean and large enough. The housekeeper worked well on the room. The lady in the reception made a huge help throughout our vacation in Rome. If I go back to Rome I will be searching for this hotel again. The negative part for the hotel...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
