The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect! We walked to all major attractions, though some were quite a walk, but we were grateful for the exercise after all the pasta! The room was a good size and very clean. We stayed in a room with en-suite and would recommend this option if you don't want to share a bathroom.... More

Visited from 30/6 to 5/7 2016 from Scotland. Location is ideal with Vatican 10 minutes away and all other tourist attractions within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants nearby and La Romana which has the best gelato we had round the corner. With regards to the hotel, it's is more like a boutique guesthouse with very charming character. It is one... More

Charming hotel, central location, yet quiet. Safe area with easy access to sights and restaurants. Bus service nearby. Helpful host but unobtrusive, kindly lent us an umbrella and guide books. Spacious, comfortable and clean room. Bed linen and towels changed regularly.

We stayed here after reading trip advisor reviews. It's close to the attractions but without being too noisy. Located on a side street near to Castel Sant Angelo, it's a clean and peaceful guesthouse which is very reasonably priced. We stayed in an ensuite room which was perfect for resting in between days sightseeing. The staff were friendly and on... More

Antiqua Roma is a lovely guesthouse beside the river tiber. Enrico is an excellent host. He was so kind and helpful. He provides us with information and maps for our travels. There is a pretty hallway once you enter the guesthouse, rooms are spacious due to the high ceilings. Our room was cleaned each day and we received fresh towels... More

Enrique is a very kind host, helps about everything. Place is near sant'angelo. You can reach everywhere on foot, close to everywhere. A little noise in the mornings, as the place is located in centre. (You would face everywhere in the centre)

This was our second visit to Rome and we used Trip Advisor to select where to stay. This was the first of 3 we stayed in for our holiday. We arrived on the 19th October for 3 nights. It is a charming flat in a very old building situated on the 3rd floor. As previous reviewers have stated, Enrico is... More

For our first trip to Rome, everything about this B&B was great. The location was perfect, the price was very reasonable, and the rooms were very clean. The owner Enrico was very welcoming and eager to help if we needed anything. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

We stayed 10 days in April 2013 at the Antiqua Roma hotel. Enrico the owner speaks fluent English, was very welcoming, helpful and full of ideas for where to go and what to do, see and eat. The hotel building is lovely, the rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The location is perfect - walking distance to both banks of... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
