Really good location, cool staff, free breakfast and coffee, and the coolest travelers from all around the world. It's easy to make friendship there. We could drop off our baggage until checking in. And it has a lovely terrace. I had a tiny problem with hot water, it was quite random.

My partner and I booked a private room as we were travelling on a budget and hotels in Rome are just so expensive if you leave booking till quite late (as we did!). The hostel was in a great location, it was five minutes from the termini train station and within walking distance of the coliseum and other sights. We... More

The hostel is next to Termini station, so very well located. We've arrived late at night and it was quite easy to reach the hostel. We've made friends, the atmosphere is great! Rooms are good and clean, and with air conditioning.

My daughters and I stayed here in June 2016. We had just arrived from a very long flight and found the 3pm room access rule very frustrating. The young man in reception was friendly. At 3pm we were told that we would have a "private apartment" in another building. Needless to say this raised our spirits! However after dragging our... More

Stayed in a 4 bed female dorm with ensuite. There was also a large lounge room shared with other dorms. Hostel was clean and quiet. Large lockers in the room was a great safety feature. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We wanted somewhere with a good location, not too pricey and this place was what we were looking for. Pretty basic private room and shared bathroom, but walking distance from the colosseum and other sites we were keen to see! Friendly staff and free breakfast were an added bonus. Close to the main station meant arriving and leaving were easy-... More

Clean Rooms, Very Easy to find, Tasty Breakfast PERFECT location: Central, near a (Bus, Metro, Train) Station and it has a bus that takes you straight to the airport as well. Nice Friendly Staff. Privacy (to a certain extent of course). Big Lockers but you had to have or buy a lock.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
