This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in Italy. The staff is superb and the location is safe, central, and convenient. The rooms are squeaky clean and comfortable and the delicious breakfast was a daily treat. There are stairs to climb, even with luggage, so if you are handicapped, you will want to choose another location. Otherwise, stay...

Just returned from a five day stay in Rome and can recommend the Hotel Cosmopolita which is close to Piazza Venezia. Good central location, close to buses and also close enough to Trevi, Colosseum, etc to walk. Room clean and comfortable and bathrooms excellent. Breakfast good and roof top bar welcoming - served good measures! Staff helpful and cheerful -...

The location cannot be beat, walking distance to many of the best attractions including the Coliseum, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Bus Stop across the street and within a few stops of vatican. The front desk staff is fantastic, very friendly and attentive. The included breakfast was actually worth getting up for. We were more than pleased with the size of...

Having read a lot of the reviews on this site I was a bit nervous of the hotel. I didn't need to be, the hotel was delightful! We was lucky enough to have an inward facing room, so we didn't experience any of the noise other guests have complained about. The room and bathroom were ideal, and would only be...

This hotel was in the perfect location for site seeing and all the main attractions were easily in walking distance, with the colloseum and the Victoriana at the bottom of the road. All staff members were helpful and friendly, offering excellent advice on where to eat out and giving directions. Breakfast was average, but adequate. The decor and comfort of...

Stayed here our first and last night on a quick weekend trip to Italy on December 16th and 18th. The location really can't be beat - we walked to the Colosseum, Forum and Piazza Venezia in 5 minutes! It's also an easy walk to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. The only time we took a cab was to the Vatican/St....

Cosmpolita Hotel is in center city Rome, about 15 minutes from the Vactican (walking) and 5 to the Colisuem. It's location is perfect if you want to see all the sites. Its located off via emmanuelle around the block from Vittorio Monument/Tomb of Unknown Soldier (they do changing of the Guards here, magnificent view of rome from the top). The...

We stayed at this hotel together with a group of 26 other people and we were all heartily disappointed with it. Between us, we occupied 17 rooms. The rooms were unbelievably tiny and claustrophobic. In most of the rooms there was simply nowhere to put your case. Our room was a double but it would be best described as a...

Stayed at the Cosmopolita for five nights in late November. The hotel was very clean, the staff accomodating, breakfast bar very adequate. Stayed at Mecenate Palace at the Termini in 2004. I loved it, but must admit that the Cosmopolita was much better located. Our room at the Cosmopolita, which was a superior double, was very noisy because of the...

Great location. Turn left at the door and in one minute you're at Trajan's Column. In 10 minutes you're at the Pantheon or Trevi Fountain. We paid for a superior room and got a room that was not that superior - had a desk. If you're only there for a few days and not much in your room, the upgrade...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
