Our trip to Hotel Corona started with very kind and accommodating staff, in particular Paulo, who stayed late to greet my friend and I and check us in. The hotel is good value for money, the aircon was fine at night and the electric fan was good during the day. It is very walkable, 5 minutes from Rome Termini and about 15 mins to the Colosseum etc. It was a great base for a city break, to rest in while exploring the city. We had to order pastries for breakfast by 9pm the night before, but this wasn’t an inconvenience at all and reduces food waste! The only water available is from the bathroom tap, but the city has lots of fountains in the surrounding area to access free water. Overall, the hotel is great value for money and a great base for exploring rome!

Part way through a stay here. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Andrea took time to show us a map of Rome, how to get about and the best places to visit. Amazing family apartment with two separate bedrooms. Spotless room. Yes, some parts of the building are a little aged but that adds to the character. Easy reach of the metro and within walking distance of some of the main attractions E.g colosseum. No problems with the air con. Safe in room.

Worst experiences I've had in a hotel around the world. The hotel is modest, old and not renovated in a modern and new way. The air conditioner only works from ten in the night until eight in the morning, and its performance is very weak, so they put a small electric fan to help it cool. As for hygiene, it is at a level of 2/10. The walls are dusty under the bed, dust as well as it has not been cleaned for more than two months. The pillow is dirty and yellowish in color. in the bathroomThere is only one liquid soap that you have to use while showering and washing face and hands. The breakfast is at the expense of the hotel, but you have to name the croissant you want to eat so that they bring it to you on the second day, and while eating the breakfast there was a very long hair in the cheese plate knowing that they filled it more than once and the rest of the hair so we decided to exit the breakfast room and we told them that we will not take the breakfast so no one asl us why . On the last day and we are waiting for the taxi To leave, we discussed the matter with the hotel manager and he was very rude and he lied a lot. He told us why we stayed all the time if we didn't like the hotel. Our answer was that we had no choice because all the hotels in the city were booked. I would not advise anyone to visit this hotel I wish I could put a 0/5 review

The hotel is a little outdated. The air conditioning was really old and did not work half the time. The rooms are what you’d expect in a 3 star hotel. Staff were nice and gave good recommendations. Breakfast was average, however you got to choose what crossiant you wanted which was nice. The lift is tiny so if you’re in a group, have fun walking up the stairs. Only reason I would recommend is that it’s great value for money, close to the colosseum and the centre. Good for a short stay. What you’d expect from a 3 star hotel.

Bad service, some of the staff were grumpy. A stoff member told us to not take our small backpacks to brekfast , Why? We only got wifi for 2 days at a time, when we could have had it for 5 days or longer. The breakfast was terrable, the bread was dry and we only got cold food. The Walls was very thin between the rooms, we heard everything that went on with the other guests. The airconditioner/climateregulator in the room did not work at all. We both got sick during the stay. The only positive things about the place was the cleaning and the good location.

We actually stay 3 times, once in November 2019, once in December 2019 and once in January 2020. A total of 11 days. The reason we stayed in the same place 3 times in 3 months was because of location, staff knowledge and helpfulness, price and value for the €. We actually had 3 reasons to stay in Rome and each time we were excited and happy to book at the Hotel Corona. The bed was great, the room was great, very quiet, and all of the staff was so helpful. Location was great, close to all attractions and an easy walk or bus ride everywhere!

Stayed here for 4 nights for my 50th Birthday and can highly recommend it. Fantastic little hotel in a quiet little street 10-15 min walk from Colosseum. The staff were fantastic and really helpful. The restaurant next door is also highly recommended

We were very pleased with our choice of hotel for a post Christmas City break. I got an amazing deal by booking directly with the hotel, which also means you get WiFi included in the price. Flying into Fiumicino and getting the Leonardo Express to Termini means you only have a 5 minute walk to the hotel. We barely needed to use public transport during our stay as the city centre is about 25minutes walk. For the price, the standard of accommodation is really good. Comfy bed, good shower and a good breakfast buffet. If I'm being a bit fussy, maybe the coffee could be improved. However, Gabrielle was very happy to make me a cappuccino every morning. Thank you. The reception staff were very helpful from Giacomo who checked us in to Andrea and Chiara, who were very helpful and friendly. There is so much to see and do in Rome and the period after Christmas was perfect for a stay. There are some good restaurants around the hotel. Antica Boheme, just next door, was lovely. We didn't have the best experience with Locanda dei pugliese, where we waited a very long time between courses. Bistro Viminale, on the corner, was good and cheap. Gina there is very friendly and very reasonable prices. Thank you to all the staff at the Corona for making this a special stay. Steve and Kevin, Plymouth.
