Bad service, some of the staff were grumpy. A stoff member told us to not take our small backpacks to brekfast , Why? We only got wifi for 2 days at a time, when we could have had it for 5 days or longer. The breakfast was terrable, the bread was dry and we only got cold food. The Walls was very thin between the rooms, we heard everything that went on with the other guests. The airconditioner/climateregulator in the room did not work at all. We both got sick during the stay. The only positive things about the place was the cleaning and the good location.
Stayed here last year, and had a great time in Rome. Hotel was very nice and clean, staff was very polite and made delicious breakfast each morning. A perfect place to stay, cheap and close to Termini.
We actually stay 3 times, once in November 2019, once in December 2019 and once in January 2020. A total of 11 days. The reason we stayed in the same place 3 times in 3 months was because of location, staff knowledge and helpfulness, price and value for the €. We actually had 3 reasons to stay in Rome and each time we were excited and happy to book at the Hotel Corona. The bed was great, the room was great, very quiet, and all of the staff was so helpful. Location was great, close to all attractions and an easy walk or bus ride everywhere!
Stayed here for 4 nights for my 50th Birthday and can highly recommend it. Fantastic little hotel in a quiet little street 10-15 min walk from Colosseum. The staff were fantastic and really helpful. The restaurant next door is also highly recommended
We were very pleased with our choice of hotel for a post Christmas City break. I got an amazing deal by booking directly with the hotel, which also means you get WiFi included in the price. Flying into Fiumicino and getting the Leonardo Express to Termini means you only have a 5 minute walk to the hotel. We barely needed to use public transport during our stay as the city centre is about 25minutes walk. For the price, the standard of accommodation is really good. Comfy bed, good shower and a good breakfast buffet. If I'm being a bit fussy, maybe the coffee could be improved. However, Gabrielle was very happy to make me a cappuccino every morning. Thank you. The reception staff were very helpful from Giacomo who checked us in to Andrea and Chiara, who were very helpful and friendly. There is so much to see and do in Rome and the period after Christmas was perfect for a stay. There are some good restaurants around the hotel. Antica Boheme, just next door, was lovely. We didn't have the best experience with Locanda dei pugliese, where we waited a very long time between courses. Bistro Viminale, on the corner, was good and cheap. Gina there is very friendly and very reasonable prices. Thank you to all the staff at the Corona for making this a special stay. Steve and Kevin, Plymouth. …
