We had a lovely stay in colors hotel, customer service is excellent. Comfy quiet and well maintained place to stay for visiting Rome was amazed the reception desk is open for 24 hours. Its conveniently located for lots of restaurants and the tube. Easy access for Vatican City, Didnt have breakfast when we stayed.

Rooms were ok, a few things needed to be fixed such as the toilet seat and shower head, but the day after I notified reception they were fixed properly. The staff at the counter were incredibly helpful. Great value for money Beds comfortable and good selection of tv channels in English. Loved the balcony. Great location, only downfall is there...

The room was really beautiful. We enjoyed our time in Rome! It was a 12-minute walk to Saint Angelo Castle and a 15-minute walk to the Saint Peter's Square (Vatican City). The neighbourhood was not as noisy as the center of Rome. Lots of restaurants nearby and the accommodation was a bargain. We didn't choose to have breakfast at the...

The hotel is really close to two metro stations, Vatican City and many restaurants. Also just around the corner from the airport shuttle bus stop. The receptionist recommended somewhere to eat and showed us where to go on the map. The room was tidied with two bottles of water replenished every day. We paid extra for breakfast and there was...

The people who works there are fantastic. They really helped us to know the city. The recepcionist Elina was very kind and gentle all the time. It is very close to the Vatican City and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The price is fair, we paid 39 euros for 2 people. The check in is at any time....

I stayed with my couple for 5 nights. The location is great, in walking distance of many cool places and the metro station in a calm neighborhood. The room was nice and clean. They greeted us with a welcome bottle of wine and they gave us two bottles of water daily, which was nice. What stands out the most is...

Hotel has extremely nice stuff, willing to help with anything you need to get around the city. Room on the third floor was great, clean, more than enough to stay for few nights and more for sure. The only minus were noisy neighbours, making noise while coming back to their room at night, but that's not hotel's fault.

Good value I thought for the location - I only stayed one night and didn't have breakfast so not that much to comment on. Nice large room but got a little too warm. Could n't open the shutters so needed artificial light all day. Very friendly staff.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Colors in December, 2016. During our stay we encountered both pros and cons. First of all, the staff were a mixed bag of personalities. Some were friendly and helpful whilst others were unfriendly and made us feel rather unwelcome. Our room was large, clean and tidy with a sink and shower in the...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
