Great location for those who want to be in the center of all of the tourist attractions. Although I woudn't consider the hotel staff overly friendly, they were more than helpful when we needed assistance. You couldn't beat the location, I can't say that enough. The room was great, after travelling throughout Italy for 2 weeks, it was an overall...

We stayed in this hotel in mid August. The location is great -- near buses (no problem with crowds by the bus) and a taxi stand and walking distance to many sights. The front desk was helpful and friendly and pretty accomodating. We had 2 rooms for us and my kids, one was large and spacious and had a huge...

We spent Aug 12th through Aug 15th at this Rome Hotel. We had one double on the top floor with a terrace and another double on 4th floor. Cons: Horribly small and dirty rooms. Especially for Americans used to large rooms; take permission from the walls before you move around! VERY dirty carpet, ripped wallpaper, bad smell in rooms, burnt...

My family stayed at this hotel over the July 4th holiday. 4 adults and one child shared a two room suite and while the accomodations were a bit pricey ($500 US per night for a two room suite) they were tolerable. What was unbelievable was the service, which was referred to in a prior post here on tripadvisor. The 5...

My husband and I stayed at this Rome hotel May 22 - May 24, 2006 and in general were pleased with our experience. We had requested and received a room on the 4th floor with balcony and were more than pleasantly surprised at how lovely the balcony was. Enough room for a table and chairs and a view of the...

This is a wonderful Rome Hotel - moderately priced in the heart of Rome. Great location - walk to Piazza Navona, Pantheon - Forum, just about everywhere. Cab to Vatican is the easiest way about 5E. Book direct with hotel to save - call - Stephano speaks good English. A single room is small but not too cramped. Refrigerator in...

I booked an American group consisting of 16 of my brothers, sisters, neices and nephews in this hotel, with teenagers and one child included. Overall it was an excellent experience for the money: not luxury but very comfortable. Location, 100 yards from the Pantheon in the dead center of historic Rome (albeit on the busy Via Vittorio Emmanuele) could hardly...

This hotel is fantastically located for all Rome has to offer. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in providing directions and suggesting where to go. Although the hotel is right on the main road (Corso Emannuelle) there is effective sound deadening - external shutters, heavy duty double glazing and internal light/sound blockers. I stayed in room 404 which...

Hotel Torre Delle Argentina is in a very good location to many sites in Rome. Walking distance to almost everything, (10 - 15 minutes to most sites) don't think I would attempt the Vatican unless you are very used to walking ALOT. Very good breakfast. They did not tend to replenish some of the breakfast items that they ran out...
