I visited the hotel in April together with four friends. Positive: -Great location, it took about 2-3 minutes to walk to Termini (main station). -The room was clean. The ceiling was high. Good size. -The breakfast was served at a restaurant 2-3 minutes away from the hotel. We liked this arrangement. -The hotel was quiet. -The staff was friendly. Negative:...

The building is old, the room is dark and toilet is very small, they don't have in-house breakfast instead they provide you with coupons for a cafe nearby, the neighborhood is very noisy you cannot open the window and the AC is useless. Service is ok and rooms are cleaned daily. If you are just looking for a place to...

We spent 3 nights in New Inn in august. If you were in Rome, you know that in august the weather is horrible, very hot outside, you cannot survive without air conditioner in your room. First day we get a room without functional air conditioner. OK, they switched the room for us, but the second room has problem with the...

Scandalous ! New Inn refused to welcome us (at 23:30pm) because our flight was delayed 30 minutes. They cancelled our booking (2 nights) 2 hours before take-off even though I didn't ask for it. And refused to refund us !!! They never pick up phone !!!

This hotel had mostly positive points to make, on arrival the building is not clearly marked as a hotel however it was very easy to gain access. The lady at reception was polite, friendly and helpful during our whole stay and spoke English very well. The room itself was large and well set out, towels were provided which were perfectly...

This is a big apartment turned into 4 or 5 rooms with own bathroom each. It is located close to the Rimini station, the neighborhood is fine with a few restaurant and shops scattered around. Our room was clean and we got a good offer to only pay for 3 nights and stay 4. There is a breakfast included, but...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
