We went to Rome so I could run the Rome Marathon on March 22. Our plane arrived early so we got the hotel about 10am. The woman at the front desk was great and got us right in to a room even though check in wasn't until 2pm. I wish I could remember her name because she was so nice...

I booked and planned this trip several months in advance as was treating myself for my 40th birthday to somewhere I had always wanted to see. After much research I chose Hotel Fori Imperiali Cavalieri. I booked a single room on their website and claimed an offer of free breakfast, wifi for the duration of stay and a free mini...

Staff are very friendly, free wi-fi, good breakfast. The location is the best thing about this hotel. It's right beside the Colosseum, metro station and loads of other sites. restaurants etc. The negatives - there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, cleaning staff were a little loud in the mornings (I'm probably nit-picking), and there were no English...

This is a small intimate hotel with a friendly staff that tries to make your visit as agreeable as possible. The breakfast was good, the staff was welcoming and helpful, and it was a great value! The front desk assisted in calling cabs and making restaurant recommendations.

Located a few minutes away from the Coliseum. Very clean and comfortable for a good price. Rosa, Pedro and the rest of the Staff make you feel at home. Breakfast included is a plus to start your day. There is a rooftop terrace which can be great in warm months (we visited in January). Website reservation was quick and easy....

This hotel is in the best possible location. It is a couple minute walk to the Colosseum and Palatine hill. It is also in an area with lots of restaurants. There is a metro station located right by it also to metro to the Vatican and the main train station to get to the airport. We were able to walk...

Could not fault this hotel! What a fabulous location too. We walked everywhere and no matter what hour we returned, we were met with a friendly smile . Staff great , breakfast had a wide choice and was plentiful. One morning they even opened breakfast nearly 20 minutes early for our friends, who had an early flight, could eat before...

This is a great hotel - value for money, fantastic location and lovely staff. The breakfast is all you need to start the day. Free minibar is fantastic as you come in from a day of sightseeing. Weather permitting, drinks on the roof top is lovely! We would definitely stay here again!!

If you're touring in Rome you can't beat the location of this hotel. Walk to the Colosseum, Forum and several other sites along with several restaurants. The staff behind the desk is very accommodating and helpful, the breakfast is more than adequate (with made to order eggs and coffee drinks). We had our family of 4 in one family room....

Besides the location, the fact that we could get a room that would fit our family was a huge determinant in booking here. The hotel is your basic tourist class hotel. It's small and tucked away in an alley street, but very close to the colosseum. The lobby is tiny as well as the breakfast room. The first morning we...
