The rooms were big with everything you need. Service was great and the people were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location near the Vatican and with the Metro station Ottoviana nearby. But other main attractions can also easily reached by foot. We also visited Stadio Olimpico for Lazio-AS Roma, which is only 15 minutes by bus (line 32). So everything...

Our room was perfectly formed and well appointed. Fresh fruit greeted us on arrival and was replaced every day, as were the towels. The mini bar in the room was reasonable and the bathroom wanting for nothing. We were very close, about 10 min from St Peters Square and all the attractions. With so many eating houses within the area...

Based on our experience from last trips, we're decided to book private apartment again. We did it and it was perfect choice. Clean, comfortable, roomy, quilt place in second floor, just few minutes from Vatican. And the best and the end. The breakfast to out room! Perfect start of a day😎 We can recommend for 200% !!

Everything was excellent. Really happy with the room, service and location. The room was so big, with massive windows and high ceilings. We had a great 4 days and would definitely stay at Vatican Town B&B again if we were to come back to Rome.

I was looking for something close by the Vatican as I planned a long day the visit the Vatican Museums and this was just fantastic. I do speak Italian which is very confinient. Great owner. The room is nice, clean and comfortable. There is a cooker and possibilities to make tea and coffee. And yeah, just 3 minutes away from...

We stayed here for 7 nights in October 2015, the B&B is less than 10 mins walk to the Metro. There are many places to eat around the area, with small supermarkets nearby. The B&B is nice and very clean. Max and Virginia are a very nice couple, very helpful and accommodating. There is an elevator in the building which...

- location (bus station, metro, Vatican) - walking distance to everywhere - price - room (well-equipped, nice, clean) - friendly staff - surrounding (quiet street, shops, restaurants) - breakfast (maybe too sweet but good, good cappuccino)

I would highly recommend this B&B. the staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely and served in the room which was spacious and clean. It was in a perfect location within minutes walk of the Vatican, metro station and bus or tram lines. Lots of nice restraints nearby. If I come to Rome again I would definitely stay...

Max is a great host and the accommodation is spacious and very clean. Breakfast in the room was very good and more than we could eat. Many restaurants nearby and ideal for early morning beat the queues for Vatican Museum and St Peters. Also very handy for metro. Really enjoyed our stay

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
