Neighbourhood
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Convenient location close to the train station, but down a dingy side street. There is absolutely zero Wifi service here. While the rooms are okay, tired looking and basic. There was no shower pan in the bathroom, just a drain in the floor meaning the entire bathroom floor

It's incredibly close to the termini station, like 500m or so. The area ia full of restaurants of all kinds and prices. Is so easy to get to fiumicino airport as well, either from bus or train. Rome main landmarks are at walking distance. The staff was smiley and helpfull. The

Nicely located near Termini station. Reception was pleasant and accommodating to our scheduled, late evening arrival. However, the rooms are fairly small and have that “old” smell. AC also quit on us the second night, but the windows open, so we could still get a cool breeze. If

We spent one night at this hotel, because we had a night before our flight out of Rome. This place was gross, in contrast to the comments I saw on here. We had traveled already on a 4-hour train, and spent the hot day in venice, and were about to go on a long flight, but were

Hotel Robinson is very close to Termini Train station. The desk staff we met were friendly, and very helpful in sorting out options to get to the airport. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The shower was small, and was not a true stall-just a drain and a shower curtain.

Hi do you offer transportation from Fiumicino airport? How much will cost ? Thanks
There are several means of transports from/to Fiumicino Airport in Robinson Hotel's area. I suggest you taking the shuttle bus to spend less (there are a variety of companies delivering the service, but I'd opt for Terravision), generally the price of the one way ticket is from 4 to 6 €. There is also an express train connecting Termini (Rome's main station) with Fiumicino airport. The service is faster but it's a bit expensive, around 13 €.

Dear Charles, First of all we want to thank you for your question. Usually we open the check-in at 12.00 AM and once the registration of our guests is completed, it is allowed to leave the luggage directly to our staff. However, if the date of the check-in has been previously scheduled we accept our guests at any time, once the room has been cleaned. Kind regards, Robinson Staff.
