I stayed six nights and the service was excellent. Nothing was too much bother including changing the sofa in the room which was a bit soft for my back. We had a couple of large rooms and kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the pool area was lovely and quiet - an oasis in such...

Stayed for a 4-day break in late September 2016 having enjoyed our first experience of Aldrovandi Residence City Suites the same week last year. Rated it excellent then and will do so again. Very comfortable, well appointed bedroom suites complete with sofa, easy chair, dining table & chairs, TV, comprehensively equipped kitchen area, en-suite, etc. Even a complimentary bottle of...

A comfortable hotel with a swimming across from the Villa Borghese Gardens, both key relaxation factors after a day of exploring Roman riches. Large sunny room protected from street noise by triple Windows. Breakfast only passable. Service very helpful and friendly. Good value for location--if you do not mind being slightly away from the center of the action--and price.

Wow, I was totally surprised at the quality and value of this property. We had a huge suite with living room, kitchen, and a plethora of cupboard and drawers. Staff was wonderful with superb suggestions for dinners. Location is absolutely central allowing us to walk anywhere.

The hotel overall is nice but not recommend for vacationers because it's very old and a little bit far from the sites. I think the hotel is overrated and I am giving three points only for the cleanness and the friendly staff.

We chose this hotel for the location and the pool both of which did not disappoint. You can walk through the park to the centre of Rome and there are tram stops directly outside the hotel for the Vatican and the Colosseum. The pool area is very nice and well maintained and has a bar which also sells snacks. The...

Like many others, we chose this place because it has a pool (priceless in Rome during the summer), as well as being reasonably central and affordable. It located in a safe, residential area on the north western edge of Villa Borghese gardens and it’s about a 15 minute walk, through the gardens, to the Piazza del Popolo. If you don’t...

Alas, our last day again in Rome, so we treated ourselves to one of the very few ones with a pool. And the good news is that the pool is actually larger and more beautiful than the pictures (also on TA) show. Which brings me to the question which this unique asset is not maximized. Opening hours 10-19:30h... Whoever came...

The hotel is clean and suitable for business trip. Room setting is convenient and cozy. Bed is a little too soft for aged people with back problem. Wi-Fi setting is easy to login for the password is the hotel name. A lovely residence, relaxing and you can even swim here during the hot weather of Rome! Love it!!

Staying in this hotel was a great decision. You're away from the craziness of the city center but you can still walk to Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain. The park in front of the hotel is beautiful and the neighborhood is VERY nice and safe. Good restaurants around that you can walk to. There is a tram that stops right outside the...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
