This hotel is the worst I've ever stayed in. From the minute of arrival when they didn't give us the room we booked, to the damp, cold, noisey, uncomfortable room not mention the disgusting breakfast that we skipped after one try! Absolute waste of money. The only consolation is that Rome is amazing. Just wish we'd had a decent hotel!...

I was very dissapointed. We stayed 5 nights here on easter,it's not like in the picture from booking. It's a 3 stars hotel but I wouldn't rate it more than 2 star, and we pay 600 euros from 5 nights, way too expensive for what they offer. Breakfast was very poor, only some bread, jam and some really really cheap ham...

my wife and I stayed there for 4 nights. Internet was a disaster from two aspects. the signal was too weak at room and we had just one code to access internet. One code for each room! We were lucky as one of those 4 nights the receptionist provided us 3!!. There was no towel!! something like a big tissue...

The hotel is near the central station but everything else is under the standard.first: no towels but they have something similar to that which smells strange. Second: bedsheet is horrible it's a blanket covered with sheet! Third: breakfest is very poor. No eggs no good coffe no vegetabilies. Fourth thing: wi-fi very bad because if you are a couple they...

For the most part I was pleased with this hotel. I was NOT pleased that their site advertised an outdoor terrace and when I asked about it at the desk I was told there was no terrace. Also found it inconvenient that the wireless pw changes daily and each room is allowed only one connection without an extra charge. For...

The hotel is located at a very central location, very close to the train station, convenience stores and a few restaurants. Luckily my friends and I were excited to explore Rome but if one were to look at a few details-- you might want to bring your own towel, bed slippers, and toiletries. They do have a good breakfast buffet...

The room & the restaurant are good! The services are friendly and kind. Hotel's athmosphere is very cool. The bed is comfortable, the room is clearly. I would like to go to the hotel in the near future.

This hotel is only a few minutes walk away from main train station. It does seem like it is in a dodgy part of town- we had no issues but too many street stalls and loiters. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a street room- which got a little noisy. Rooms nice and large. Elevator was very slow. Wifi kept...

We stayed here for five nights around the time of the six nations rugby. We had a fabulous room with a balcony and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was basic , but free, and offered a range of cereal, pastries, cheese, ham and bread. We never had issues getting a seat. Staff were pleasant and had no problem printing tickets for...

Stayed at this hotel for three nights. Conveniently located near train station and all other transport links, which is inexpensive. The area itself is flooded with ethnic minority's. Be prepared to be asked to purchase everything from scarfs, key rings etc. You would really want to be street smart staying in this area. Petty crime, pick pockets etc. All major...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
