Fabulous hotel in a great location. The breakfasts had a great variety of choice with some cooked options as well as the usual continental style. The staff were amazing! Very friendly and honestly could not do enough for you. They searched for bus routes for us and shared their knowledge and ideas. Nothing was too much trouble. A brilliant place...

Hotel Modigliani is a lovely little hotel near the Piazza Barberini. We had a light-filled room on the 6th floor with a lovely balcony view from which we could see the Vittorio Emmanuele monument and the dome of St. Peter's. The room and bathroom were large by European standards. This is not a five-star hotel (for instance the beds are...

This was our first vacation to Europe and we chose Italy. We arrived in Rome Saturday morning and went straight to the hotel. Our room was ready early so we checked in to a small but comfortable room with a balcony. We realized we would not be spending a lot of time in our room so didn't need a lot...

This is a charming little hotel, situated in a quiet street just off Piazza Barberini, with its Metro station, lots of places to eat and interesting shops. Just minutes away from the Spanish Steps. The hotel itself is quiet, clean and elegantly decorated. Our room had a nice view over the little garden and was comfortable and clean with a...

While our room was small, it was enough for myself and my friend to stay in. The furnishings and room were modern and we had a great view of Rome from our window. The wifi was seamless and we did not have any trouble. The elevator is a little slow and small - I'm only mentioning this because I cant...

I keep trying to find ways to understand why this hotel received such great reviews on quality and service. I only provided 2 stars based on cleanliness. I arrived yesterday morning with two bags. You have to step down five stairs into the lobby. They people at reception desk just watched me stumble down the stairs- I have three bags...

Ask for a room overlooking the garden, and will have a wonderfully quiet night (the higher up your room the better). The little balcony is a real bonus. Rooms are comfortable even if not very large, the bathrooms are also nice. The entire hotel is spotless and the location, just a few minutes walks from the Spanish steps is ideal....

Great hotel for our first trip to Italy. Our room was on the top floor so it was quiet. Room was very clean (and cleaned daily). Bathroom was a little small for four people but still manageable. Great location-many sights easily walkable. We also used the airport pickup service-a relief after traveling for so long and being so tired when...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
