This hotel was perfect for our short trip to Rome. we stayed for 2 nights and it was ideal location for all the main sites. the views were insane of the Trevi fountain but the only thing to let the hotel down was the staff. they were rude and unhelpful. We were early to check in, I had emailed to...

There's a reason why they make you pay for your full stay before you check in, you will probably want to leave and they will not offer a refund. The room was small and smelled like sewage. The furniture is a strange mix of things that look as though the were found in the trash. The staff lied and said...

Cannot fault the setting- came for drinks and had a table in the window of the rooftop lounge which overlooked the trevi fountain which was insane! Prices were a bit more expensive aka gin and tonic was 13euros and glass of prosecco was 10euros. Definitely book a table if you can! BE AWARE.... 1. It is cash only 2. They...

We booked a Superior room via Amoma.com. The hotel is dated, tired and dark with a tiny lift to serve it's four floors. You could call this character, at a stretch. We did not find the staff particularly friendly, reception did look up when we came and went and breakfast was pretty much a DIY affair. With the exception of...

You stay here for one reason. The location! The front desk staff was pleasant enough and check in and out efficient. The rooms are basic and more reminiscent of a youth hostel than a hotel. Decoration, modernization and decor stopped in the 1960s. In some sense the decor is shabby chic or so out dated that it is in style...

Location is good, walking distance to attractions in Ancient Rome. Across from the Trevi Fountain means loud noises and crowds all day long. The bathroom in our room was so small, we could not take a shower standing. There is only a handheld shower and we had to take a bath or sit in the tub to shower. The room...

Good hotel, we were fortunate to have a room which overlooked the trevi fountain. Breakfast was buffet style and very good and plenty of choices. The fountain was loud but didn't stop us from sleeping, it maybe a little different in the summer with the window open. Ideal ly placed with walking distance to Colleseum, Spanish steps, Pantheon etc. Staff...

Yes, right in the center and opposite to Trevi fountain. Little bit noisy at nights but it worths to stay there as it is just in the center of Rome. The location of the hotel gives a chance of visiting everywhere by walking. The rooms are comfortable but the bathroom is rather small. As the building itself is very old...

We visited Rome from the 25-27 of October. It was really beautiful weather, cool enough for a tshirt during the day and long sleeve shirt at night or a light jacket. The hotel is wonderful. We took a door to door car service from the airport at 17€ a person. Was really the best deal and we didn't have to...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights before a med cruise. What a beautiful authentic hotel. Fabrizio the manager was most charming and gave us a run down on the history of the building and also gave us coins to throw in the fountain and the room was lovely. Not huge but bigger than expected for Europe. We...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
