There's a convenience store close by where uoh can buy wine at a very reasonable price. In fact in of the best Gelato store is close by Alpi Hotel. Highly recommended and the...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 11 March 2017

We had a last minute stay in Rome, and needed a place to stay near the train station. It was almost midnight, and we took a gamble - and won. This was the perfect hotel for us, about 1/2 mile from the station. The room was really nice, with a balcony view of - well, Rome. There was a huge...

We loved hotel alpi. They were great. We were in Italy for about two weeks and this was one of our favorite hotels. Very clean and modern! LOVED IT. and great location close to termini station. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere from the hotel and didn't have to take a taxi when we got in from the...

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the train station and it is only a 5/10 minute walk so that was perfect. We arrived quite late after a long journey and the check in seemed to take a long time and wasn't the warmest of welcomes but maybe we were all tired ! The room was very small...

This was a lovely family owned and run hotel. Great service and beautiful breakfast buffet. Wish I had taken a picture of it. Served in a beautiful room with lovely linens on the table. They were kind enough to give us a goody snack bag to take with us when they found out we had an early morning flight. Would...

Hotel Alpi is a small but lovely and well located hotel , right by Rome Termini , with loads to do right on the doorstep.Do not worry about being near the railway station . We did not find it a problem,You can walk to most of the tourist sights and there is a Metro stop nearby. The atmosphere is informal...

Receptionist Sagnero(?) was invaluable. He gave great recommendations on nearby restaurants and location of a laundry. More importantly he made me feel truly welcome. He is a great representative for your property. The room was excellent

We enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel located 5-10min walk from Termini station. Front desk staff pleasant and all staff encountered friendly. Our superior room was on the third floor with a small balcony and view to the rear of the hotel. Room a perfect size and glad we booked this category as the standard rooms looked very small....

Initially we were given a very small room with no useable window, but we asked to be moved and we were given a much bigger, brighter room, all be it for €60 more, but not too bad as we were there for 4 nights. Breakfast was good, continental style but good choice and coffee was good and staff friendly and...

First room was in disrepair. Shower floor was made up of 2 haphazard steel panels. Chips in the furniture, dirty walls, stained bedding. Included breakfast not worth it. Scrambled eggs were weirdly watery. Cut fruit was not the best. Selection included a lot of prepackaged crackers, cereal, and flavored yogurt. Bedding was not comfortable. For the final price of over...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
