Could not been better received. Flowers, fruit and a bottle waiting in 3rd floor room. Allen and Eve very welcoming and helpful in every way. Deserves a raise! Would highly recommend this old town based hotel to all age groups. A massive Gratsi. John, N.Som

We recently stayed at the Hotel Grifo while in Rome for two days. We could not have asked for a better experience! The location was amazing - about a 5 minute walk from the Colleseum. The breakfast was great as well. And, I cannot say enough about the staff. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a...

We arrived late due to late running train from Milan to be given a room with roof terrace and very welcome offer of beer from the bar. Staff very friendly and keen to advise on best way to see local attractions. Very close to colosseum and easy walking distance of main attractions. Room and bathroom were large by Rome standards...

We stayed for a long weekend and found it perfectly positioned for us to explore Rome. 10 minute walk from the Colosseum and the ancient city, we only really needed a bus to get to the Vatican for our tour, however, we walked there on our last morning just because we could! The hotel staff are lovely and so helpful....

Great hotel just around corner from colosseum, restaurants and shops. Staff were lovely. Book direct with hotel and save! Breakfast was very good. We went back and stayed again before leaving Rome and were upgraded! Recommend getting room with patio as it's nice to sit outside on a warm evening. Definitely stay there again! Excellent value for money. It's not...

Fantastic area to stay at and walking distance to everywhere. We stayed there with our family of 4 on the top floor (elevator only goes to second to top floor, so you need to walk up some stairs, but not too bad). Nice balcony next to the room. The room itself was very simple and plain - not as nice...

The hotel is within 10mins walk to the Coloseum and Terminii station.Walking is about 20 min to the Spanish steps area. So well located for exploring Rome by Foot. The Reception staff were very useful in helping to orientate and tell us about Rome. The room we had was a bit small in size but comfortable and clean.
