I booked this hotel because we were arriving rome one day earlier than scheduled and our main hotel was fully booked. Wanted a close one to it to spend the night. Price was avarage and it was mentioned as 4 stars, which, it definetely is not. Location is great, just by the end of the street lies the Spanish Steps...

The best judgement factor of the quality of this hotel is the price in relationship to what you are receiving as a customer, this is a hotel with great value for money. What you receive is more than what you pay for at this hotel. I grew up in Rome Italy and I was so pleasantly surprised to have found...

I guess the location of the hotel and the friendly service of the staff make one dismiss the flaws of Hotel Homs. Definitely not a four star considering the state of the floors as well as the rooms (Bathroom..) But for the price paid, I seemed to be ready for what I would get from the hotel.. Keep your expectations...

We booked this Hotel because of the proximity to the Spanish Steps. Our "executive double" was across from the 3x3ft lift! I asked if there was a mistake. The desk clerk, Gianluca, confirmed that is what I was given. To be honest, Gianluca was the best thing about the Hotel. He said he could not upgrade us to a suite,...

I have been to Rome a few times and each time have stayed in a different location. The Homs Hotel is very comfy and clean. We book a quadruple room which was advertised as a double and two single beds, but it was a double bed and sofa bed. This was not really a problem as it was a girlie...

My wife and I reserved an "Executive Double". We walked into a room that may have been 150 square feet. I immediately went back to the front desk and asked if there was a mistake. The desk clerk, Gianluca, confirmed that is what I was given. To be honest, Gianluca was the best aspect of the hotel. He said he...

You could not wish for a more perfect location for a hotel. It is close to Spanish steps and in the best shopping area in Rome. However, hotel is old and dirty. There was so much dust under the beds that my kids got itchy eyes. Repeated requests to wash the floors made no difference. Also the hotel is very...

My bag was stolen from the dining area of the hotel bar during breakfast . The hotel staff showed no concern, which gave me the impression this was not an uncommon occurrence. This took away from the otherwise friendly helpfulness of the staff in a clean, comfortable well-situated hotel.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
