Rome, Italy

The place is very convenient, you can walk from here to the Colosseo, from here to the Vatican. It's in the middle of everything. Service was excellent. We got late for the breakfast yet the lady in the caffetteria still offered us some croissant and coffee. The room is so basic and old, needs some renovations I think. It was...

Booked this hotel after reading both bad and good reviews but wanted a central location and were just gonna stay for 3 nights so we thought we'd give it a shot. Not expecting too much this was a good hotel for what we wanted. Most bad reviews were about bad breakfast and rude staff. For all the bad reviewers: You...

We booked the 4 person room for a weekend break, firstly we all felt what an amazing deal we'd got for the price! The hotel is in a great location - couple of minute walk from Campo di Flori, 5 min walk to the Pantheon and so on. Brilliant base for your stay! The breakfast is basic- no cooked food...

If you want to see Rome, i.e. not spend time peering into crevices in the tiling or sniffing the towels or running one's finger along the dust (not that there is any), this is ideal. It's a budget hotel in an absurdly convenient location for tram/train connection for airport, and walking in all directions to find something of interest -...

If you are looking for a five star resort, keep looking. Others may be disappointed, but this is a wonderful budget hotel that is centrally located. We walked everywhere from here and were able to really get to know and enjoy Rome. Yes, there is no elevator, spotty Wifi, and our air conditioning didn't work, but I still would recommend...

After booking online from U.S., we arrived about 10PM to discover no elevator or porter, reception located one floor up with no elevator, room a further two floors up. Tiny room with inoperative telephone, defective bathroom (sliding) door, hard bed, linen towels, no tissues, noisy air, no toothbrush or other amenities. Night clerk only staff on duty, skimpy breakfast, surly...

Walking distance to major sites and right near the river. Near the Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere with delicious restaurants nearby. No true problems but we didn't book this hotel expecting the lap of luxury. No elevator but we knew that going in. Beds were a little hard and pillows flat but not unlike our other hotels in Europe on this...

Rude staff. No Lift. Wifi doesn't work. Hot water for shower takes 10min to come on. Phone in room didn't work. The towels were like sheets. Highly recommend staying elsewhere. Only positive is that the hotel is central to attractions ie Pantheon, Trevi Fountain etc

The only good thing is the location. The receptionist was terrible!! We feel like we were not welcome there. Our room was on the 4th floor and there is no Lift!! The breakfast was not that good either.
