We loved it. Although the room was a bit small, the comfortable beds, amenities provided free of charge, services and hospitality of staff and the location made it awesome place. Hotel provides free coffee 24/7 and a breakfast which is serviced on a lovely terrace. This was great. We will definitely return when in Rome

Room - very clean, modern, reasonable size, comfortable. Cost reasonable. Breakfast is simple but ranges from cereal to scrambled eggs and bacon. fruit salad was a bit too simple. You can get a tea and coffee all day long in the upstairs dining area. Outside deck eating was a pleasure. I went to a local supermarket and bought a prepackaged...

We have enjoyed a fun few days as a family--four adults and two kids, age 6 and 8--at Hotel Scalinata di Spagna. The location is amazing and the staff are beyond accommodating. Nice, clean rooms and breakfast on the rooftop garden in the morning. Up the hill is the Borghese park. Down the Spanish Steps are restaurants and shops. Close...

We have been in Rome for the week and we are staying in the panorama suite. Simply put, this room, the hotel and their delivery of services make the Hotel Scalinata di Spagna possibly the best value around this area period. Having stayed at the Hotel Hassler many years ago, my overall experience here has actually been better so far....

Great place as a Bed and Breakfast. Not a destination resort. Quaint roof top terrace. Clean, Classy, Friendly. Convenient to shopping, metro and Famous Spanish Steps. Ristorant"34"for Roma Fare, Margutta for Vegetarian and Sofia's Italian Restaurant are all recommended and within 5 to 15 minute walk.

We spent five days in the Panoramic Suite and it was wonderful! The hotel is within walking distance to all the sites and the terrace offered us the perfect place to enjoy our late afternoons to watch the sunset! The room accommodated three adults, was very clean, modern and gave you the feeling you were staying in your own apartment...
