Our family (2 adults, 3 teens) stayed at the Hotel Abruzzi during a trip to Rome in late March 2014. My wife and I had stayed here previously, and we loved it so much that we wanted to share it with our kids. At the time of our trip, they were renovating the outside of the building, and scaffolding was... More

This hotel is so centrally located and the staff is so friendly that it is a dream. It is right across from the Patheon and looking out our window was like a postcard. The staff gave us great suggestions for resturants and directions for the places we wanted to visit. They called taxis' if we needed them and could not... More

We chose this hotel based on location, and it was the best decision we made in Europe! it is close to all the restaurants, and main touristy spots. And the view- wow! I have a photo of myself taken from my room, being the only person at the Pantheon. The room was rather small but did the job. Breakfast was... More

The location of the Hotel Abruzzi is unbeatable-we had a stunning view of the Pantheon and square (Piazza della Rotonda) from our window. The windows are well-sealed, so that noise from the square was adequately muffled for undisturbed sleep. We walked comfortably from the hotel throughout the old city and as far as the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. We... More

Albergo Abruzzi is located in the Piazza della Rotunda, just beside The Pantheon. Amazing setting that started our first trip to Italy. The hotel is undergoing renovations which were advertised in advance and did impede the view from our room, but we weren't spending much time there anyway! We did unfortunately get a room that had not yet been upgraded... More

We stayed at the annex which is only a few steps away from the main building. At first we didn't like the fact that we were not at the main building, but shortly after we felt as if we were one of locals living in a Rome apartment. We felt safe and had a nice view of the Pantheon. The... More

This hotel boasts an unparalleled view of the Pantheon, and is centrally located so that easy access is had to a variety of diverse neighborhoods. If you like to walk, most must see sights are no more than 15--30 minutes away. Recently refurbished, lovely rooms have every modern amenity. Plentiful buffet breakfast in a cafe just across the piazza, which... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in March 2014. It was an enjoyable stay for the following reasons: 1. Great location - 3mins to bus stops which take you to the vatican city (5mins from there); 15-20 min walk to the Roman Forum and 10 sec walk to the Pantheon; 2. Newly refurbished room(s); 3. Breakfast was acceptable;... More

The location of this hotel is perfect, and when the renovation is finished the hotel will deserve a higher rating. But the Pantheon view was next to nothing because of the scaffolding. This hotel is currently being renovated both outside and inside. Our floor and room was among the new ones, and were very nice, light and well equipped. On... More

One cannot ask for a better location, more helpful staff, or a nicer breakfast (included). Breakfast is across the piazza at a restaurant with indoor or outdoor dining - we sat and took in the Pantheon and surroundings - just magical. The rooms are small, the bathrooms are very small, and I'm tall, so that knocks it down from 5... More
